Why shouldn't David Haye get a shot at a heavyweight tittle.

If David Haye's next fight is for a heavyweight tittle it wouldn't be the first time a boxer from a lower weight fought for a heavyweight tittle or championship. Roy Jones Jr, Bob Foster and Michael Spinks come to mind.

if i was his promoter or manager, i wouldnt rush him into a HW title shot. Its wise to fight someone in the top 10 first

He shouldn't get a shot at the Heavyweight title because he has not defeated even a top twenty Heavyweight yet.

    A Swansea Chav.

Because I am pissed out of my skulll, I will tell tale. I was in the bank in Swansea and Enzo was in front of me. He was served, and the female bank clerk turned to her mate and gushed, "Ooh, he's a bpxer etc, etc, etc,". I waited 30 secs, while they discussed him and I thought, just serve me you fat ****:fire

I think Haye should get a shot, but for his own sake he should make a bit more of a name for himself first. Ko'ing a couple of known hw's and talking endless **** to Wlad should do it.

He can have one decent fight against a top contender and then go for a title shot.

He shouldn't because all the title holders are stacked with mandatorys.

    W. Klitschko has to fight Thompson....

And the fact W. Klit still has to fight Provetkin...

    Chagaev has to fight Valuev....

Peter has to fight Vitali next....

Although he does has a voluntary option, but why would he risk it with Haye anyways? lol. He should of took the Audley fight if anything.

    Well technically he has.

Although I have no clue why Bonin was even ranked number 10 by the WBC. That guy isn't good. Prior to the Haye fight he struggled against a 0-0 opponent.... He got knocked down in the process...

Because it will destroy his marketability when he gets starched and has to go back to cruiserweight.

He is doing the smarter thing. Lifting his weight properly and testing the waters with a top ten heavy. Should add some excitement to a snoring devision though.
