    Very interesting.

He was sold to the UK audience as the man who took Audley 10 rnds.

Hell, Herbie Hide can't get Haye into the ring. Yes, Hate refuses to fight Hide! Vitali knocked Hide out years ago for the WBO title in London, yet Haye is afraid to fight him. Haye does not deserve a shot.

Everytime someone runs his mouth, such as Austin, some claim he will win, bull crap!

Haye is the unified if not undisputed cruiserweight champion. He should have a legitmate claim for an immediate title shot at heavyweight. Boxing history shows time and again when champions from lower weight classes challenged for the championship hovering on the scale above them.

Klitschko is beholden to the mandatory defenses for each of his titles. Haye is going to haved to wait for now. But that makes it good. The excitement for the fight gets some time to build and as Angelo Dundee would say "get juicy." As long as they both win their nexst two fights - this megafight could happen. :bbb:bbb:bbb

Which top 20 heavyweights did Roy Jones Jr, Bob Foster and Michael Spinks beat before getting their shots?

What on Earth are you talking about?

Having no interest in fighting someone who's fighting at a lower weight in a much lower class is not the same as 'refusing' to fight them.

Herbie Hide's refusing to fight me, you know. Must be afraid.

He could get a shot, but it's much better to get in a fight or two first.
If he leaps right into a HW title fight and gets mullered, he'll look like a colossal idiot.

It would be better for Haye to have a fight or two, win them and call out Vlad when he has some credential at HW

Jones, Foster and Spinks all held their titles for a significantly longer period of time, had defended their light heavy titles numerous times and had much more experience. Plus Foster had fought heavyweights a couple of times before he ever got a shot at the heavyweight title.

Haye doesn't have the pedigree that the aforementioned had.

It would be a shame if Thompson get's to Wlad's chin somehow...
(Anything can happen, Tho I doubt it)

That would leave Haye in the wind, and back in a millenim version of the 90's "Cruserweight". (Heavyweight)

Take a long hard look at Haye's record and it's not exactly earth shattering. Beyond Mormeck, who had been through some vicious wars and has some clears flaws and you don't see a helluva lot of names that even approach some of the gatekeepers of the heavyweight division.

I want to see Haye fight at heavyweight as much as the next guy but to think that his resume earns him a world title shot at heavyweight is just absurd.

The problem with Haye's record is he has some impressive looking knockouts but look at the list of names.

Let him fight Arreola. That'd be a good test.
