Why So Many Glass Jaws In MMA?

    Their is no logic in saying a certain sport has a certain jaw, you have your mark hunts and chris leben , robbie lawler, chris lytle pre retirement, who could take shots.

    if this the case, boxers have glass shins.

    KO strikes tend to be the ones that go unseen until they land. In boxing, boxers have less threats to focus on: a right hand, a left hand. In MMA it's obviously a bit different; left hand, right hand, left elbow, right elbow, left knee, right knee, left foot, right foot, take down, throw, sweep. So any lapse of concentration in MMA is going to have a far greater impact than in boxing.
