why so many people are in love with gamboa?

Who is saying anyone shouldn't be excited? He is a very entertaining fighter, aesthetically pleasing, though the **** his fans spew are a real turnoff.

He has had 11 fights and he KOs the p4p 1? That sort of **** is the reason for this thread.

 

I think he's got as good of a shot at KO'ing pacman as anybody else does. It will be Pac-MAB I all over again except Pac would be at the receiving end.

I don't think Gamboa needs 3 or 4 more fights as some of these people are suggesting. The guy has every tool you need in boxing, only thing missing is a big time match to show the world what he's made of.

Nah, I think its just Pelican. If it is Pac fans, they just don't want Gamboa stealing any of the spotlight. They know (and me being a pacfan included) Gamboa is a legitimate threat to anybody in the 126-130 pound division

It seems you don´t know much about amateur boxing or you wouldn´t talk that disrespectful about it. In many ways it is as hard if not harder to become a tob amateur as it is to become a top pro.

It is obviously understandable that they would be angry, as in several threads today people have made stupid references to Gamboa KOing Pac, and Gamboa beating Jesus in 1 round.

 

this is where you are wrong. pac fans would love exciting fighters like cotto, gamboa and pavlik which are like pac himself. some hate was generated when someone here hyped gamboa to the extreme that he would beat pac by this year and beat marquez next year.
