Ok hes not the most skilled but he fights ANYONE, ANYWHERE at ANYTIME. He isnt any more disrepectfull or arrogant than any other undefeated or winning boxer. Yet for some reason he seems to be despised so much. He fights dirty vs dirrell hes a cheat and coward, Ward fights dirty and its all part of boxing ect ect.

I think Froch would contend that your judgement of him as being 'not the most skilled' is idiotic, and he will 'smash you up' when you meet him in the ring.

When i say skilled i mean technically skilled, which he isnt , anyone can see that. But what he does have tho is heart, determination, confidence, power and control of his fear. Kinda like Rocky you can beat on him for 11 rounds but whn the 12th bell goes he will still come out beleiving he can win and will fight accordingly. That to me is just as important as being fast or slick or technically great.

Froch has a great attitude, fighting undefeated Pascal, Taylor (away), undefeated Dirrell, and his fight before Pascal was against an unknown but undefeated fighter and his next bout is fighting away to Kessler, which is great form and very commendable, but watching Froch can be exciting but very frustrating in that he dosent bring his gloves up so gets hit clean alot, dosent know how to cut a ring off, (He just walked after Dirrell following him around) so he dosent corner movers, dosent throw combinations combined with often being quite lazy means he gets outworked alot. The annoying thing is he can be alot faster when the mood takes him. I often wonder if Froch had a different trainer who makes him throw combos, would he become a better fighter? I think so.
The Ring mag and Boxing news report I read on Froch vs Dirrell both had Froch winning. It could have gone either way.
But as for the hate and lack of respect, i dont know why either, not many are as willing to take there titles on the road like he is

Froch has very under rated footwork

    ok here's why I dislike the fella>
    1. He talks too much trash, and when someone beats him to it (Dirrell),
he acts like he's a gentleman who let's his fists talk.
    2. He's got no talent to back up the things he says, and looks awful when he's not fighting someone who's right in front of him.
    3. He fights like a dog, very dirty fighter.
    4. He's ugly.
    5. He's a hypocrit and he cries like a baby when things won't go his way.
    6. His girlfriend is one hot british chick
    7. He is delusional

I think a lot of it is not liking the fact that Froch is a tough tough rugged guy!

His will to win is absolutely unshakable.

He has not really shown his true skill set in his last 2 fights and a lot of poeple are judging him on those 2 fights.

The kesslar fight is going to be unbelievable and I hopefully see Froch coming out with a lot more respect. But a lot of people will still see Kesslar as shot (which I think is absurd!).

Respect will only come by way of beating abraham (provided he beats dirrell, otherwise dirrell will have ruined him or something equally as stupid).

If he goes in there and bashes Kessler then Abraham people are gonna have to give him his dues!

I'm gonna call the next post before it comes.......

'there is no way Froch beats Kessler or Abrahams!'

He's even worse outside the ring mate (I have met him)!! You'd think the guy had endured a "Personality bypass". But despite his lack of "personality/charisma/etc" he is a warrior and i'm a fan of his (Hence the meet!). I think his fight with Kessler will be very interesting! People seem to believe that it is Kessler's to lose but I don't believe that to be the case. It should be an extremely competitive fight!

He may not be as skilled as the likes of Andre Ward or Andre Dirrell, but he's certainly not 'unskilled' parsé. You don't win medals at amateur World Championships if you don't have some skill.

He's too eager to get drawn into a brawl, that's all. And he's too eager when he's hunting down faster opposition in terms of letting his punches go; he wants to land before they reset and move away and so he swings at times.

But when he wants to be, when he keeps his focus and discipline and the fight settles down, he can box reasonably well. I'm not saying he's an excellent boxer, but he's not as bad as he's made out to be. Watch the way he controls the Jean Pascal fight when it's not a brawl with his jab and reach advantage, keeping the range.

Watch round 4 especially of the Taylor fight, the way he comes back from the knockdown in the earlier round and outjabs Taylor and boxes really well. Watch some of his earlier fights and the way he can counter-punch particularly with the right hand over the top and bringing the uppercut under inside.

He's also improved a bit defensively. He's still a little too easy to hit at times, but in the Dirrell fight in the early stages, both were sitting at mid-range in the middle of the ring, and Dirrell couldn't get near him with his jab. A tonne of right-hand-jabs were picked off or Froch moved his head backwards out of range to avoid them.

mostly just moaners about the dirrel fight, he is a throwback in that he will go to war but i think he will lose to kessler, has the style to beat abraham though

I think you may be wasting your time Will mate! I fear that anyone with that much hate isn't going to be willing to debate the subject of their detestation with much reason!

All his trash talk about JC made me laugh, he was bitching so much that I really felt sorry for the guy. At that time he didn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as JC, he was just making noise.
He's a hypocrit b/c he uses the same rough tactics that he's critizising Dirrell for fx.

All that aside I think he's acting like a champ in the respect the TS said, he takes on the biggest challenges he can get. He just needs to stop talking so much and try to improve inside the ring.

He;s one delusional **** and I noticed that brings a lot of hate.

Getting a hometown decision with Dirrell didn't help either.
