No, Dirrell was bad until he found his way in the last 4/3 rounds. Dirrell was a first timer at championship level though, Froch was the one who disappointed me being bad all night no matter how low you claim Dirrell ducked.

    quite correct.

Froch didn't get going and couldn't get his timing right.

For me he still won though.

And it was a terrible performace by Dirrel as well.

Still when everyone say both performed poorly it has alot to do with the styles of each fighter is
a really bad match, and I actually think the matchup favored Dirrell somewhat,
so I won't put too much emphasis on Froch's performance that night.
That being said Froch was the most disappointing,
and he sometimes makes a fool out of himself talking like he's all that, not recognising his many flaws.

It doesn't hurt to admit that you had problems because of your own limitations instead of blaiming all things around you.
Anyone remember Froch talking about his speed :D

He's a white, English, cocky, loud-mouthed type. Therein lies the answer.

His jab is fairly quick but the rest of him not so much.

To be honest I thought his after fight comments were fair enough because to me it was Dirrell who made the fight a stinker.

When Dirrell attacked a bit at the end it actually got exciting!

Maybe his comments was fair, but that's the thing with Froch he's just doing what he sees fit. If it's bashing JC then that's what he's doing, if it's bragging and talking a big fight that's what he doing etc. If he tried he could have more fans, but he choose to provoke and stay in his illusion. There are other ways to voice your opinion and he ain't no Ali or JT or others in that league.

Is he any worse than other over confident boxers like maywather and his diva demands or Hopkins with his white man trash talk and flag abuse?. If frochs disrespect deserves this hate then surely Hopkins deserves banishment or something lol

Also im a JC fan but in Frochs defence it was calzaghe that started it all. JC was asked once about a possible super fight with Froch and he went on about Froch being rubbish and not worth the time ect so naturally Froch spent every oppurtunity since offering himself to JC for a fight.

There are a little more weight behind Hopkins' or Mayweather's words at this point. BTW Mayweather gets his share of hate from fans you know...

    Well, Froch, naturally. :huh

The attributes I mentioned don't sit well with many US fight fans for some reason. It's funny cuz of all the double standards and stuff.

There is a good deal of truth to this post.

I personally do not dislike Froch. I am not, however, particularly impressed with him, either. :good

He has a point about Hopkins, however. If Froch uttered such inflammatory racial comments, he'd be universally panned.

the same reason lewis, calzaghe, khan, haye, eubanks, naz, benn and hatton weren't liked.
