Why so much venom for Margarito but not for Tito?

**** everyone who cheats, but the author has a decent point layered in there that he didn't highlight enough. There is a lynch mob out for Margarito, with murder in their eyes. If you said anything about Trinidad in the past people would fire bomb your house and kidnap your kids. It's an interesting parallel.

This is a good question and the answer is easy.

The bull**** hype surrounding Margarito was WAY too much so people overreacting is just normal and to be expected. Hell, his fans overreacted even after he pulled off wins against the likes of Lujan and Golden Johnson yet downgraded his possible "opponent's" wins. However, I don't rememeber there was anything found Tito's wraps, it was just mentioned that his wraps weren't done properly and they never mentioned that they found anything in it.

 

atsch There is noone better at 147 today than Cotto but remember PBF wanted to fight Cotto as well as SSM who stepped aside for ODLH to get a crack at him, Baldo was the UNDISPUTED champ and he had wins over Judah, Gatti, and Clottey, so it was a good fight for PBF, as was the Judah win. That being said, outside of SSM who has been at 147 for yrs, who at 147 has a better resume than PBF who has only been there for like a few yrs?

Dude been at 147 most of his career and never became undisputed champ, infact he could've fought a peak undefeated SSM in 01 but he decided to fight Santos for the WBOGUS title :rofl At the time PBF accomplished more in 3 fights than Fraudgarito had in a 40 + fight career, all Margo did was win the WBOGUS title then load his gloves to beat Cintron, Clottey, and Cotto :deal

 

What has Cotto done that has all of a sudden that made him so great? The guy has never won a title that wasn't vacated.:deal He has potential but so far hasn't lived up to it.

Exactly PBF accomplished in 3 fights at 147 what Margo still hasn't done at 147 a career at that weight, win a linear title. Quite pathetic if you think about it.
