I wanna touch on this cause it's early in the morning, I don't work today and i'm really bored. Ok I know the past says alot, A WHOLE LOT. Me being a Zab Judah fan since his golden gloves yrs i'll step up and admit the fustrations i've also as a fan have with him. Losses to Cory Spinks(I think there first fight was a draw) Baldomir should not have happened. Losses to Mayweather, Tszyu, and Cotto were very excusable losses.

Being as how they were top opposition. But when you look at the picture here, he was able to do something to Mayweather that hadn't been done in a long time, and that's hit him, and quite easily. Had Judah not gassed would he have out pointed Floyd? Cause it sure seemed he wasn't having trouble with anything Floyd was doing until he got tired. But the fact of the matter is he didn't and lossed.

But did I regret paying money to see that? Of course not. Now let's move to Cotto. I may get some major heat for this but hey I know what I saw cause I was at that fight. Weather the lowblows were intentional or not isn't really my focus of thought anymore. But more how the complexion of the fight changed when the fouls occured.

Let's look at Cotto's previous fights at the start of the first round. Cotto usually set's his presence at the beginning. Gomez was getting tattood at the start, Mosley felt Cotto's pressure at the start of there fight, as well as alot of others. Let's look at the Judah fight. The only punch that Cotto was able to land and be effective with was a lowblow.

Now if someone with eyes was watching that fight they would know Zab looked pretty wired that night. Even with lowblows the second one very hard and seemed intentional, he still gave a great fight. Zab Judah with no legs weakened from lowblows gave a better fight than MOST of Cotto's opponents when they are healthy. Hell Zab was even able to stun Cotto I think in the 7th again and he didn't even have anything left. I think without those lowblows that fight would have looked alot different.

Maybe Cotto would have still won, maybe he wouldn't have. I think Zab's gas tank was good for that fight. You CAN'T have a fight like that and not have the energy to go. But did I regret paying money for that? Hell no. Now we jump to Mosley. For whatever reason I don't understand people are acting like this is the BIGGEST mismatch in boxing history.

Let me say something, if Zab comes with a full gas tank, HE'S GOING TO WIN. Mosley is a great fighter and i'm not really doubting his chances, however Zab's skills right now are better than his. Cotto was able to be quicker than Shane in some instances of there fight. Mosley's speed has slowed down. The last time he was able to show it was that rematch with Vargas.

Mosley of 2000 would have NEVER let Cotto outspeed him. Now when you really look at this fight where does Shane have an advantage other than cardio? Zab has a better jab, he's faster, puts punches together better, as oppose to Shane right now who throws 1 punch at a time. 1 big right hand that's more power than speed lately. And Zab in the power deparment is no slouch himself and I think hits harder than Shane right now.

Zab is more noted for knocking out Cory Spinks than anyone Shane has at 147. Please DON'T mention Vargas:lol: Neither one of them have KO'D a list of guys at 147 that proves Shane is a bigger puncher than Zab, so in that area they may be even. But Cotto even SAID Zab hits harder. If Zab comes prepared to go 12 rounds what does Shane have other than a big right to stand a chance? Of course he can hurt Judah if he gets to him but I see this fight going back and forth.

I may be the only one who feels this way but I don't think Zab Judah is done just yet. Let's not forget it was Cotto and Arum that made the Judah fight happen. Weather they were using Zab as a measuring stick or because Cotto wanted to test himself still makes me think. Because with Zab's reputation as a thug and given his past like the breakouts with Jay Nady(which I still think is funny:lol:) and the fight that Roger Mayweather made happen. Zab's reputation isn't one of a beloved champion. Which to be honest because of his past I can't say is wrong.

But on the night of the Cotto fight, he was fouled and the majority of the boxing public didn't care. Now Shane took an interest in fighting Judah. I wonder why? I think everyone knows Zab is still a great opponent for anyone. Now I know the story with him is his focus level. I'm from New York and trained in Gleason's gym and even there people that have seem him on a regular basis would say things. However even with all that, he still puts on great shows. Either he's gonna win or he's gonna lose and he's not affraid of anyone. You can't say you saw a Zab Judah fight and regret it or thought it was boring. The guy gives you a show regardless in wins or losses and can beat anyone on any given day. May 31st someone's career is gonna be shot down, and for some reason I don't think it will be Zab's. People may not agree but hey, that's why we all have our own opinions. Excuse the REALLY long speech lol

Dynamite, Relentless is probably about the biggest SSM supporter on here so don't look for no love from him on this one. But he is right, need to edit that into paragraphs because with the print it's hard on the eyes to read. I wouldn't mind reading it myself being a Judah fan, but it's hard to read like that seriously.

Judah talks alot of **** but doesn't back it up

I like him anyways but that **** talking gets annoying when he loses to guys like Baldomir

To echo others sentiments....put it in bloody paragraphs!!! I read about five lines and then I realised it was just one massive chunk of text.

I read it anyway and it's a quality post. I'm takin Zab myself in this upcoming fight.

But like the others said, go back to the original post and use the edit option. Find the right spots and just hit "enter" and paragraphs will appear. Only saying so because a lot of us ESBs will pass at reading it when they look at it in that form and it's worth reading.

How many chances does Judah need to prove himself?

He's a great talent but fast hands and power aren't enough.

His father/trainer is as much a factor in Judah's downfall as Zab's mental strength. I've never seen a Judah fight where Yoel has given him anything approaching good advice.

Fine job. Just didn't want your work to go to waste, because people would have just skipped over it other wise.:good
