I don't want to. He does it on most occasions. He didn't for that.

so you will happily pay £75+ to watched a sparring session with Lamont Peterson?

Khan needs to build his profile. In the UK he is not a PPV attraction yet. Katsidis and Maidana 2 are the only fights that would really shift PPVs in the UK, maybe Prescott.

your wrong mate. Cortez was picked...and regularly gets picked by promoters (remember that pick the judges and officials not the governing bodies) because he is notoriously favourable to the house fighter.

    Peterson's a Boxer. Bradley's a Boxer.

Maidana is a more of a Slugger. How will that benefit Khan when going into a Bradley fight?

What kind of decision would it be for Khan to be going into a Maidana fight when he's right on the verge of unifying the Title's?

Completely un-necassary risk at this time. Right now, Maidana* brings nothing to the table.

To be honest, no one would give as much of a **** about Maidana. The CASUAL fans didn't care for the first. They wouldn't care as much for the second because Amir beat him. Casuals fans aren't sprung on watching two fighters fight again straight away just for the sake of it. A win is a win, and they want to see Amir fight for bigger and better.

Maybe if Maidana got hold of a title and a couple of wins, then sure, why not, but now? no.

It just doesn't benefit Amir as a Fighter when going into a Bradley fight.

It benefits us fans, and as a fan of Amir, I want to see him go forward, not backwards.

It very unlikely that it will be Peterson, Katsidis or Maidana.. reasonings

Easiest one.. Maidana. He got a major payday in the last fight. He isn't now going to come back for the rematch and take 3x less than the amount he made in the previous fight

Peterson's camp say they won't travel for $200k and supposedly asked for around £370k ($600k) which was rejected by TK.

Katsidis, took 80% of $515k against Mitchell, and then took $500k for fighting Marquez.. he won't come to the UK and earn half that in a fight of huge profile.

The only options are people who WILL take the sorts of sums on offer. Murray and Prescott for instance

Despite the points you make, there is no good reason for Team Khan to be saying that a Mccloskey or Murray fight is more legitimate than Prescott. Styles make fights, big punchers bring the drama and excitement for Khan fights, and that is what sells. The history cannot be ignored.

Even though Mitchell beat Prescott, people still see that KO of Prescott. It is pretty much played in the buildup to every Khan fight. That was such a brutal knockout that it has not left people's mind.

If you can sell Haye-Harrison, you sure as **** can sell Khan-Prescott 2, so to say that financially it isn't big, is a joke. The fact is that despite how much the skill differential might be and how much Khan has improved since the Prescott loss, every Khan fan would be a bundle of nerves in the first 4 rounds of a rematch.

Guys like McCloskey aren't knocking out Khan. And since they can't do that, forget about getting a decision against Khan, especially since it is in the UK. Prescott can knockout Khan.

Bradley can fight many ways. Last night Bradley was the pressure fighter, just like Maidana is. You see what Bradley did last night? That is what he will do against Khan. Khan better get ready to deal with pressure (he should have been learning this a while ago).

This is what Khan's training camp should be like:

Learn how to deal with situations on the ropes
Learn how to make your opponent miss on the inside (like Marquez)
Learn how to defend up close
Learn how to deal with headbutts
Learn how to set up counters on the backfoot
Learn how to slip down and to the side when on the ropes

So far what Roach and Khan have done is to make the game plan based on Khan's obvious strengths (which is obviously to keep it at range and outspeed with those blistering combinations). But what do you do when a guy gets on the inside? Well you found out when Maidana got on the inside. You found out how much Khan struggles there in the Gomez fight as well. You can bet your ass Bradley will do it.

Khan, like Alexander, hates pressure. Bradley will pressure Khan. Only a fool would want to 'box' Khan in the middle of the ring.

That list reads like "Learn how to fight". I think they are right play to Khans strenghts, he's never going to be any better than passable on the inside, better to just tie the opponent up and wait for the ref to split the fighters up.

    :yep

Bradley will only box Khan if he is trying to coast to the final bell if he has the points in the bag.

I would actually back Team Khan if they stipulate that Tim has to wear a sponge helmet.
