Maybe Khan should wear a sponge chin pad to protect Bradley's hands a bit more? ;)

He could still win it against Bradley, just that he will have a lot more trouble. Seems a tough fight to call.........

    Laz.

Khan doesn't do his prep for Bradley in this next fight.

He does it in the sparring and training camp for the Bradley fight, so I don't see the type of opponent he faces as an issue at all.

I actually think laz has a fair point about the opponent. Sparring is great but its still not a substitute for actual boxing matches. Same as any sport, you can practice all day but its not the same and never will be. Hence why people sometimes take what look like risky tune ups before big fights, they see the trade off as worth it.

Fact is Khan has fought quite a few plodders of late. Kotelnik, Maidana, Salita, none blessed with great speed or ability. Malignaggi had speed but is and was awful, plus one handed and not a threat offensively. He could do with somebody that has speed, and can box. McCloskey would have been good, Kendall Holt is an option, Lamont would have been okay if uninspiring. He's not going to get anything out of John Murray.

I don't think there will be a stoppage (unless headbutts). All I know is that these 2 are the best and nobody is going to win easily. It will be a tough fight and whoever makes it their type of fight will win. I had Bradley up by 2 in last night's fight. I consider Khan to have some similar strengths to Alexander, except he is much better at them.

I'll say it is 55-45 in favor of Khan

Prescott destroyed the hype. Time for Amir to exorcise those demons in front of a fighter the Brits know! I bet he'd be cheap as chips as well.

That could possibly be true, but here is the issue. There isn't someone like Warren, who is experienced in boxing for years and years, looking at the upcoming situation and thinking like that. Thinking about what would be good in terms of his boxing... Amir Khan's business manager and effective promoter, Asif Vali, does not think like that... he has 2 simple things which he works on when selecting bouts. "what fight will generate the most revenue, while bringing the least level of risk"

Besides the reasons box4eva has given in the opening post, have people here ever thought that GBP will be saving Prescott for another time? Right now their fighter is on a role, got the media and fans behind him, eligible for a comfortable tune-up after the Maidana war, and he has the number one guy of the division – Timmy Bradders – in his sights. There’s no rush to take and waste the Prescott opportunity right now. Instead, they can save him for a time when Khan needs a big fight to win back respect - say, if and when he loses to Bradley? For him to rebuild his stock, going back to Prescott wouldn’t be a bad place to start.

Come on, peoples. Put your business hat on, and think about it.

Rico, Good point. If Khan had lost to Kotelnik/Salita etc I always felt a prescott fight would have been a sure way of getting back onto PPV straight away, as it's something people would of watched

very good point but they still need an opponent for April which HBO and Sky will go for.
