Me too. But Khan's winning streak coupled with Prescott's losing one, has just seen the two fighters grow apart. I'm convinced that if Prescott went on to do what he was supposed to do, and continue keeping his name in the mix, Khan would have been forced to fight him by now.

Anyway, what did you think of Timmy's fight on Saturday? Has it altered your view on how Khan would do against him? It didn't for me. Whilst he didn't do anything spectacular, he didn't show any weaknesses either. In fact, his defence looked pretty good to me. I think Khan loses a UD.

Sky recognize the fight for what it is - a homecoming warmup. I'm pretty sure they're flexible with whoever Khan's team pick, as long as it's not someone of ridiculous low-level quality. I hear Katsidis' name has been thrown into the mix. I'd love to see that!

I think along similar lines, Bradley UD pretty convincingly. He is a good all around fighter, he's never going to be in the elite category, but has far too much for Khan, who in my opinion is good in areas, limited and poor in others but all shielded with phenomenal hand speed. It's got him where he is, the moment he gets in the ring with someone who can deal with it, he's just going to become that guy who has some good skills but is limited and poor in many areas, and that's where Bradley takes him, as he'll have more.

Yeah Saturday was just a bad fight to watch, like they always say its the combination of styles that make the fight. HBO have already stated they have no interest in a rematch thank god. However, the Khan fans who can't think objectively are going to look at Saturdays fight and think "The was terrible, Khan is going to demolish Bradley" and so on...

It always was going to be a boring affair. Alexander has never been exciting, and I can't say I've ever enjoyed a Bradders fight. His style isn't very pleasing to me, but just like Ward, he's an awkward opponent for anyone and he gets the job done. In fact, I'll even go as far as to say his style makes things unfair in the ring. That head is a serious issue.

In regards to how Khan copes with him, the likes of Arum and Alexander's trainer have already come out and said Bradders will be too much for him.

:good That's what I'm trying to say.

Khan became a little overrated overnight after the Paulie fight. Many, including myself, thought Khan isn't the type of guy you'll wins rounds against, and that if you win, it'll be by KO.

That wasn't the case in the Maidana fight (Close fight), and Maidana is fairly limited in what he does.

Paulie was a one handed man with no power.

Peterson at least has very solid fundamentals and has decent pop along with it. It would most definitely be a test for Amir, in my opinion.

 To be honest, I'd probably do a better Job than Khan's shitty Management.

its a voluntary defence to pass the time before a unification. make it mean somethings. peterson and ortiz doesn't mean something unless they go on to achieve something significant.

khan can right a wrong in front of the people who saw him brutalised.

my office still ridicule khan because of it.

Katsidis will quite rightfully demand a decent purse. he is the only one of the fighters mentioned that would deserve £300k plus.

I don't see why people Sky would want Katisdis. I mean for FFS they didn't even pick up him vs. Marquez. And I don't see what he does for Khan either - its a bad stylistic matchup for which he'd get absolutely no credit seeing as a) Katisdis is a lightweight and b) is coming off a loss.

I think he deserves a similar amount to the one he recieved in the Mitchell fight, which was £260K accoridng to box4eva. Seeing as though it's Khan - a much bigger draw - I think he should recieve nothing less than that.

Sky had no problem picking up Katsidis-Mitchell, so I don't see why they wouldn't pick up Katsidis-Khan. And I think the reason why they didn't get Katsidis-JMM, was because Sky's schedule/budget at that time had already been filled up by other fights. Trust me, if they could, they would have televised it.

Katsidis took 80% of $515k against Mitchell. Which is a lot more than £125k.

this whole sherade just sums up how Sky get it wrong time and time again when it comes to PPV boxing.

Why would Sky promise Khan a PPV date without an opponent? Makes no sense at all. The way it should work is Khans team go to sky and say we have a fight set up with Lamont Peterson will you put it on Sky Box Office and sky say yes or no.

No we are in a situation where Team Khan are not looking for the most compelling fight of best night of entertainment for the fans in the arena and buying the PPV, they are just looking for the guy that will take the smallest fee thats passable to the public and networks. Thing is it will backfire as Khan will get shitty PPV numbers unless its Katsidis and it will screw him when they negotiate with Bradley.
