Oscar's waiting until after Christmas to see what kinds of gift cards Canelo will receive...

118-110 and 114-114 wasn't enough and could only net Canelo a draw.

Heard Canelo is requesting 120-108 and 120-108.

They should fight in Mexico! A partisan crowd will only fuel the Triple Gods desire to win.

Let me guess, you picked Canelo to beat GGG in their first encounter?

There’s no rush on Canelo’s part. Of course G is the adamant guy in this situation. Also what needs to be understood is that the numbers are not as good as reported. K2 will try to bs and over play their true value but Canelo can take a guy like Lemiex and practically produce the same numbers. As K2 has proven, they’ll answer to every GBP request.

I, like most reasonable fans and Canelo fans understood this was a very close fight with each fighter have some kind of advantage over the other. I did pick Canelo to best Golovkin and I always maintained that it was a 50/50 fight, possibly 51/49 in Canelo's favor.

I felt a good case can be made for either fighter because most of the rounds were close. I felt Canelo definitely won rounds 1-3 and 10-12.

For the rematch I give Canelo the edge again. This time Canelo will be even more adapted to 160, I'm sure he will be focusing on his stamina, perhaps not bulking as much as he did for the first fight, and will be the fresher of the two fighters.

Golovkin took a good beating despite remaining very competitive. He was able to score points with the jab, but the best punches were clearly landed by Canelo.

To some degree the fight reminded me of Cotto-Margarito where the pressure fighter had a lot of success but undoubtedly left a lot in the ring and was not the same since. For the record, Golovkin has never been punched with the frequency Canelo was landing those power punches.

A powerful counter-puncher usually does land the bigger shots vs a high volume puncher, unless that volume puncher gets hurt, dropped of KTFO than he wins the fight by landing more shots. That's boxing, outland your opponent. GGG outworked Canlo, its fine if you think power punches negate all the work the volume puncher was doing. Jabs win rounds, Jabs won rounds for GGG against Canelo. There's nothing more to it.

They misjudged GGG and now realise that they have to wait a bit longer for him to age enough not to have to rig a decision again....

Maybe when he hits 40 they will have another crack...

Is is true that he was "acting" against Kell Brook and Jacobs so others would thought that he is not the same anymore?

That's fine and dandy if you're using an "amateur scoring system", so you are WRONG. Boxing isn't a jabbing contest or a "who lands more punches contest", if it were we would get rid of judges and just tally the punches.

If you think one powerful counter that landed flush, not hurting the opponent makes 10 jabs irrelevant, you're wrong.

I don't think he respected Brooks power at all so he fought the way he did but he wasn't acting per see. Jacobs was a bigger man with as much power so GGG player smarter. That chin won't last for ever..

GBP may have looked at his last few fight and decided (like Floyd) GGG was finally ripe for the picking. He didn't taste as juicy as they thought so I suspect we will be waiting a while for a rematch..

    This.
Canelo is good enough where it'll always be competitive and close, but ggg will get robbed again. No point in a rematch really

Canelo is a total coward I mean he said the power was nothing and he thought he won clearly but only golovkin wants the rematch every gift win that his got and everyone saying his lost he hasn't at all wanted to prove that he is the better fighter his took the win and then fought a easy fight
