Bakole, Kossobutskiy, Kabayel, Makhmudov, Ajagba, and Ortiz would be better.

Even Charles Martin would be a better opponent than Charr.

It's not as bad as earning a title fight by b3ating Gavern, then beating Stiverne for title and then having back to back defences against low level opposition in Molina, Duhaupas, Spzilka, Arreola, Washington and Stiverne again before he fought someone actually noteworthy for first time in his career. This was 39 pro fights in, 6 title defences and 32 years old.

    Now that is really shocking.

The reasons you gave are reasons to criticise.

Don't care. If Usyk/Fury happens in 2023 who fights next is of literally zero consequence.

No I don't. I wish Usyk would fight every month

My point is Mr Retirement Fury needs a tune up to fight a MW who is easy work for him but that MW has beaten all these giants up HW, including AJ, in their backyards, who all hold huge physical advantages over him, coming off 11-12 months of inactivity and Fury is 53-56lbs heavier than him, has a 7'' reach advantage, and is six inches taller if you believe his official height that is. Either way he's a good 4'' taller.

He wanted a tune up before facing this MW when he walked away from the fight during negotiations for Usyk vs AJ II too

I don't really have a real problem with him taking a tune up if he's so desperate to have one. But it will jeopardize the undisputed match up between them ie. the final between the two semi-finalists who already had to win their semi-finals twice on decks stacked against them to progress to the final.

I'd much rather he fought a Chisora or a Charr than an AJ because the later is a much more risky fight for him and he'll be tied to a two-fight deal if he loses and we can wave goodbye to the undisputed match up happening until late next year at the very earliest and very likely wave goodbye to it ever happening at all

Agreed! Tune up for what? A tune is for guys coming back after a long layoff. The hell Fury talking about tune up. I can see a light touch after the Wilder wars, but I would think the Whyte fight covered that.

So Fury's terrible resume is okay because Wilders is even worse?

Ruiz would be an easy win for him.

Charr is ****ing useless and a pointless fight

He’d be as well fighting Chisora for the 3rd time and fighting Charr in between rounds

I was replying to a post that refers to AJ having back to back defences against Brezeale and Molina was terrible.

LOOK at their instagram accounts. It really seems like Fury vs. Charr is happening in Dec. if AJ doesn't sign the contract in the next hour. :-D

If you think that's shocking you should see Wilders defense record.

    it's about staying active
these top boxers should really be boxing every six months or more often.
not 11, 12, 13 month gaps between fights

it's funny how low the standards have dropped.
fans actually complaining about boxers wanting fights!
