i believe it too....im not the biggest fan of his but i respect his skills as a boxer and have followed him enough to not be surprised by this because since the baldomir and de la hoya fight these exploits outside of sport reeks of someone whose bored of boxing and finding interests in other avenues outside of the ring. He said himself hes been boxing boxing boxing since he was young maybe he is just bored of the sport and i appreciate him retiring if he thought by staying on he'd be doing the sport an injustice by not being motivated and not having the hunger that's commendable. Also it is possible that he's been stung by the criticism hes been receiving from the fans and media and he could just be thinking even if i fight cotto and beat him its just the next guy then the next guy it'll never end.
yeah but the past few months he's been exploring other avenues and found theres more to life than boxing and he has earning potential outside the ring
There is only so many time you can hit a wrestler with a chair and winning dancing competitions doesnt get u the respect, money or adrenaline rush as a prize fight would. The more i think about it, the more im convinced he'll fight again before the year is out.
