I'm English and I think he's a complete bellend if that helps. No idea why he's the main Brit guy pushed these days either. Hathaway and Hardy both have bigger wins than him.
Even the people in England booed that decision. Hard to tell which judging is worse MMA or Boxing :-(
Because Dana thinks British fans like him. Because he's ahem ... British. He's like the Danny Dyer of MMA.
We expect some skill with that amount of **** talk. Bisping is not that good at all. An old Hederson sparked him and would again tomorrow.
I can see why they did it at the time, but now they have Hathaway and Hardy who are both more established than Bisping, who's just a gatekeeper really.
I dont really remember his fight with hamill or the aftermat, but what I remember was hamill being a ***** in the tuf show,I wouldnt blame bisping
Hopefully, they'll start promoting Hathaway instead of Bisping. Outside of the aftermath of the Hammil fight, his **** talking and bad behavior hasn't ever really bothered me. I just don't take the guy seriously enough to hate him. My only issue is with the UFC pushing him so hard to curry favor with the UK fans. If he were from any other country, he'd never have been in another main event after the TUF 3 finale.
Yeah, he's fought in a lot of main or co-main events considering everytime he steps up in competition he invariably loses. I don't mind them having him on the main card, but imo at this stage he should be used as a litmus test for guys coming up, because you don't beat him unless you're top level. However post Hendo, Rashad and Wanderlei it's pretty clear he won't ever reach top contender level, no matter how badly UFC probably want to do him Vs Anderson at some point.
