Why the dislike for Nathan clev

i would imagine if you were to do a survey from people that actually know both fighters you would find that bellew is far more disliked . especially if you were to talk to people from each others youth . bellew is nothing other than a bullyboy thug and im surprised he is not locked in a cell .

 

In the build up to this (which I've admittedly not paid too much attention to given the fact I'm resenting this as a PPV), I can't say I've seen to much hatred towards Cleverly.

Bellew on the other hand...

 

Can't say i hate him nor have i seen an overwhelming hatred towards him from most others, Bellews working hard at being loathsome enough for both, Bellew puzzles me, on one hand we see him as a pundit & i for one think he comes across well even if i don't always agree with him then we have pre fight Bellew (more than ever this time) what exactly does he think he's achieving with the way he behaves? appalling attitude & seems so needless, i sometimes think i like him..then he gets interviewed

 

I spoke with him after his fight with Krasniqi last year - he was stood with his old man, mrs and the rest of his team. Came across as a real sound down to earth lad, although his old man is a bit odd.

 

He's a really really nice guy. A genuine humble man.

 

Genuinely think Bellew is SERIOUSLY mentally disturbed.

Apparently he hates Cleverly because of his comments in the post first fight conference, if anything Cleverly is too polite.

Has anyone got the video of cleverly being disrespectful? Because i cant find anything other than him being totally professional and courteous - saying what a tough fight it was etc.

 

Seems ok to me,much prefer him to bellend.

 

He's one of my fave current fighters.

I thought he'd be the guy at LHW till Kovalev appeared out of nowhere.
He cut Kovalev and I thought he'd have a chance of winning if it went later then 6 rounds.
Just a bad mofo who even Clev said was another level.

Clev was beating top ten ranked opponents and was a worthy WC
If there were no such person as Kovalev I think he would have done to Hopkins what Kovalev just did with his work rate.

 

Use to dislike him earlier in his career. His stupid ****y ring entrance use to annoy me.

But now he seems more down to earth and likeable.

Very honest fighter.

Like how he just laughs everything off that bellew tries to dish out which annoys him even further.

 

He seems a nice fella. and his beating, made me a huge fan of kovalev, that was a good win for kov.

 

Didn't like how he used to come out dancing but apart from that I think he speaks well and seems a likeable guy.

Bellew on the other hand seems a right horrible cant
