Probably just him at the moment, but he is a type that you encounter from time to time.

He is marginally more objectionable than serial Jeffries excuse makers.

At one time I was a Marciano distractor. Nothing to do with his race or heritage certainly. I thought of him as being skill less. I was completely wrong. He is a ATG hwt champion who should be admired in every sense of the word.

    I was somewhat the same.
Until the really clear footage starting coming about.
    That changed a lot.

The dislike isn't for Rocky as a personality. It's for attitudes that are perceived as being biased and racially motivated. Building a statue to honor the fictional Rocky Balboa in Philadelphia instead of having erected one to honor the famous African American world Champ from Phildelphia, Joe Frazier, didn't help to dispel that notion.

How did you accomplish this? He seems very focused in the ring and hard to distract.

It's Eddie Murphy's fault that race is always brought up with Rocky Marciano lol

I give Marciano props, he was a great fighter. I think his size and style would hold him back against a lot of other great heavyweights, but it didn't hold him back in his era and I think he would have been a beast at cruiserweight.

He was most effective and skilled than his awkward style would let off. He made his head a smaller target, used angles which made him less predictable.

Don't have a beef concerning Rocky, however, due to certain things in American society, he is held as an imprint in certain ways that are not reasonable.

He isn't. Despite being one of the most successful fighters in the sports history, with an exciting style to boot.

When you hear people comment on Rocky, replace his name with "Ali," and see how ridiculous it sounds, despite how close in ranking they are.

I'm saying this as Ali's biggest supporter.

Having said all this, it is also worth mentioning that Rocky ranked #4 of all time on this forum in 2011. Which was a top 20 list compiled by 30 or so members on this forum.

6 years is a long time though, I doubt he does as well today, but it would be interesting to see! Maybe I'll do a 2017 version for a new video.
