Why the dislke for Nathan Cleverly?

    Dont understand why Cleverly is getting so much hate on here.

    He is a working class kid who has done very well fro himself in the ring and outside it.

    He treats everybody with respect on and off camera.

    I met him a few times and you could not wish to meet a nicer more down to earth person.

    I understand that some people want bellew to beat him which is fair enough but all the hate does not make any sense to me.

    Who dislikes him? I've only seen people on here call him a ****ing rat because of that press conference, no real dislike.

    You may know the guy personally but for me he comes across as arrogant. What pisses me off more is they way he's built up (ie. ringside).

    Hows thinks Porky? Have ****ed saddos off mate, no one hates Clev but it doesn't help that Bellew posts here and is a really top bloke, so as a result alot of people naturally want Tony to win which in turn means Clev gets a bit of stick for this fight.

    i like the way Tony tells it how it is.......You know like footballers are media trained and all that i hate that....Id love to see the likes of a Rooney or a Van Persie come out in the post match interviews and be like..."Yeah did you see that, i tortured him today i skinned him alive he couldnt get near me"...but you get all the "yeah we played well, they were unlucky" load of bollocks...I just like to hear a bit of truth and The Bomber tells it how it is.

    Thats my take on it. Nothing against Cleverly but Bellew takes the time to post here and seems a decent guy so there is that "connection" there for a lot of people even if it is just over the Internet.

    I like Clev, i think he a good boxer, and will go on to do more, just think Bellew will win, close pts win, very close

    It because he is fighting Bellew although it's not hatred. I went to the O2 thinking I'll be supporting Clev v Braehmer, then it changed to Bellew so I was against Clev - then it changed to the Polish guy so I was back to supporting Clev. I wish him all the luck in the world....just not tomorrow during the rat catching hour.

    Being working class has nothing to do with anything either mate. I wouldn't care if he went to eton.

    And other people like to behave like complete dickheads with fighters that post on here.

    Hopefully the majority find a happy medium somewhere between the two extremes.
