I've noticed Freddie has gotten a bit of an ego of late... but that comes with success. I mean he's a celebrity at this point. Been opn HBO a bunch of times on 24/7, does a lot of interviews and he's the most sought after trainer in the sport so you can understand where a bit of that arrogance comes from. But hey, the man's confident and his fighter's have been winning so stop hatin.

Well, hr has a lof of influence on who Manny fights, so when he says things like, "Martinez has to come down to 147", "we won't fight Marquez at a catchweight", or point-blank refusing to entertain the possibility of fighting Mosley until he was coming off two poor performances, he rubs a lot of fans the wrong way.

I've never had a problem with Roach but when he started talking about Martinez having to make welterweight, I thought it was time for him to stfu.

Hes a great trainer, but he needs to stay away from media.

At first, I was happy for him.. Finally Fred is getting the credit, and exposure he deserves...

But now hes become a ****ing diva. A media attention *****. Every other day I see someone interview with him....

He does more interviews than most fighters :patsch

Fred needs to go back to what he does best, which is train fighters...

I think people take his quotes out of context, and that creates alot of hate.

Like the whole Mosley situation. If you watch the interview after the Hatton fight, he says that Pacquiao is still a JrWW, that fighting Mosley at 147 would be giving away too much advantage, that they will fight him somewhere in the middle.

He said Mosley is too good to move up in weight from 140 to 147 and fight right away at the full limit, but people take that out of context and say "Roach said Mosley was too good for Pacquiao, now Mosley lost and Roach says it's ok"

It's not even true, but people don't give a ****, if it's controversial they run with it.

kinda like *******s mentioning the word "vacation" or "urge" 5000x a day?

by the way...who did pac fight right after hatton? oh it was miguel cotto right? wasnt it....shane begged for the fight...even said ill go to 140 for it....you guys are too funny...this was after he destroyed margo....they wanted no part....and now they do...great timing!...love watching u guys try to skirt around that.....freddie knew damn well after hatton that they would be taking fights with 147 lbers....thats why he said pac is still a jr welter so he could have them have to meet him in the middle....
