Why the hate for Anthony Joshua?

I guess people hate him because he's mainstream and hate anything to with Matchroom.

As a person AJ comes across a very likeable guy no putting fake "beef" or disrespecting a fighter to sell fights.

As fighter, he's entertaining and was in the most memorable HW fight in decades.

Matchroom desperately tried to make the Wilder fight but Wilders team weren't interested so twice now AJ fight the number 3 ranked fighter in the divison.

 

Every fighter gets some level of hate, no matter what they do. A fighter could do everything right, win every fight by KO, take on the very best and every opportunity and you'll get a small vocal group who will hate him with every fiber of their being.

Some will hate him because he was hyped early on and they didn't see it and can't admit they were wrong, some will hate him because he was gifted a clear decision and possibly 2 other close fights at the Olympics and say he's a manufactured champion because he has money and a powerful promoter behind him, some will hate him because he exposed a fighter they were a fan off, some people are just contrarian in nature and will always hate the more popular fighter.

 

Joshua called out Fury when he was 400lbs lol and as soon as Fury was in shape he changed his mind and refused to fight him until Fury fought Wilder

Yes I know Tyson knows he’s the real deal, he’s the number 3 HW on the planet after all. Do you think that Tyson thought Wilder was not the real deal?

 

Personality has a massive part to play in the overall liking of someone, regardless of skills. Yeah, Joshuas good, but I don't like him ! I don't think Tyson's a scumbag though, what's he done to warrant that ??

After the Wilder Fury fight I'm now convinced that AJ will destroy both of them , I think if Wilder signs for April AJ will annihilate Wilder in 3 rounds. This fight just proved beyond any reasonable doubt that Wilder is not up to the level of AJ, Whyte, hell even Dubois and Miller right now could beat him. Wilder is confused and cannot sustain at this level he struggles to much against 40 year old Ortiz and now Fury. Wilder is overrated and a comeback from over 25 stone and drugs and alcohol Fury exposed Wilder. You wonder why the AJ Wilder didn't happen well look at the scoring cards and conduct. No way the ABBC is gonna let the heavyweight or middleweight belts leave the US to a foreigner unless its by upset. Do 5 mins of history and you will see this.

He is a good looking, successful, eloquent man and seems unstoppable at the thing he loves to do: boxing. Besides he earns a lot of money with it and is beloved not only in the UK, but all over the world. Posters of him hanging in Dubai, Hong Kong among other places. He is the ambassador of the sport and a great role model.

That's why there are people who hate him and want to see him fail.
