Seriously, I know he doesn't have heavy competition right now, but why the hate?

Built up? He's a world champion. He picked the absolute worst opposition the WBC would allow. Neither of his opponents were mandatories and both were voluntaries.

It's not a Golovkin situation where he CAN'T get good fighters to fight for his title. Wilder choose not too. And even GGG's opponents are 200 times better than Wilder's.

GGG had a very long amateur career and has had decades of training and experience. Comparatively Wilder is green and learning on the job, and he's still beaten Stiverne, a win at least as good as any of Golovkins

He has a BELT, what do you mean he's "being built" up????? When you have a title you are OBLIGATED to fight the best.....:patsch

Stiverne is a tubby haticion taxi driver. What's his best win? Hype job Arreola who got a robbery draw over a bum recently?

Built up? You get built up on your way up, not when you have a title. His choices of opponent have been awful.

The reason he's being hated is because he's always being compared to Tyson and any short comings will see him being criticized to no end!!

That's the issue. Not the quality of opposition.

Seven years a pro, 35 matches and his best W is one that Demetrice freaking King also has on his ledger.

The thing is that Wilder's in a position with a powerful promoter and seemingly a good fanbase that he could get many top opponents yet he chooses basically journeymen. He's just awfully protected and his whole "American champion" milkage is annoying as **** too.

...oh man, and not only that, but King's 2nd best W (and that's arguable, it could in reality be even better than Stiverne, who basically just got lucky to land a vacant title shot versus a fat glorified club fighter in Arreola) is Bo Tupou, which destroys anything you could nominate as Wilder's 2nd best! :patsch

As the others have said. It is who he fights (well his management decides) is the problem.

He is the WBC world champ, learning time is over...

Overrating Tupua a little bit... But yeah, he's not too far off from guys like Molina, Duhaupas, and a shot white wolf... I see you don't too highly of the Scott "win" either

Btw... How do you see Thompson/Scott going next week? :think

There is no way you believe the things you type.

Sometimes I think you and Super Hans might be the same person trolling on opposite spectrums. It's fascinating stuff.
