Why the hell did HBO Fire Lennox Lewis? They need to bring him in to replace Max.

    Lennox Lewis was absolutely terrible. He can't touch Max's ankles when it comes to commentating.

    Lwnnox was a poor commentator at best. At least you could understand him unlike RJJ.

    Lewis was awful. He never improved which is very telling. Mumbled, stumbled his way through telecasts and rarely offered insight to the boxers work in the ring which is what you bring in ex boxers.

    RJJ also must go. I thought Andre Ward did a good job.

    Max is OK but Brian Kenny make him look like an amateur. Hell, Bernstein makes him look like an amateur.

    Yeah Andre's very good at it. I definitely see a career in it for him after boxing.

    i wonder when LL got his walking papers if they called him in and said;

    Lennox; Regarding your employment here at HBO, IT'S OVAH!

    i do agree with the comment about Lampley being a *****, that was spot on...

    ANYBODY would be better than Kellerman. He is, hands down, the worst commentator I've ever seen in 35 years of following boxing. That's what happens when you take some unqualified punk who hasn't done **** and put him on ESPN like he actually belongs there. And now this bonehead is on HBO??? Pathetic.

    You'd probably hate him even more if you knew that he could buy small countries without thinking about it.

    lewis is too dumb for me to take anything he says seriously. to do color commentary, you need to have a quick mind and a deep vocabulary so you can quickly get your thoughts across in an interesting and logical manner. lewis is just too slow-witted.

    i love Lennox and all, but commentary wasn't his strong point. he's nowhere near as bad as Amir khan. HE'S the worst you'll ever hear.

    His commentary wasn't good for the dramatic aspect and wasn't really sharp with his observations but he was better than Max IMO, but yeah RJJ needs to stay, it's funny when when Max or Lampley try and explain something and RJJ does that laugh where he knows they DKSAB but just laughs it off.
