I was thinking the word "pub" means attention or something along those lines... I guess it doesnt?

No, the term is xenophobic, but coincidentally the guy she was responding to actually is a racist.

And if the above is true.. then wtf are you talking about? :nut

He get's lots of attention on this website because he is British... and there are lots of Brits on ESB. What is so strange about that?

Because he is taking on Mcdermott in his eigth fight when much more experienced vaginas like David Haye and Derek Chisora seem to be terrified of taking a step up in class.

And where the tell is David Price for that matter?

David Haye beat Mock in his 7th fight.

Derek Chisora beat the current British champion Sam Sexton in his 5th/6th fight.

    Both better than McDermott IMO.

Seriously, if you are going to follow British boxing, at least ****ing learn about the boxers, instead of posting ****.

    No, I am doing fine.

I saw Chisora turn down the fight with Fury. good job beating Butlin again too, and getting himself suspended while doing it. I can see how a man can learn a lot by fighting Butlin twice.

As for Haye, yeah, I see your point with his one fight in two years. I used to quite like the man, but he has completely disgraced himself. It is obvious that he does not want to compete at heavy, but is looking to cash out.

It's nothing to do with the Brits. I don't know a single Brit that trumpets Tyson Fury as a great hope, and I more or less live in the Brit forum. Of course his career is followed with interest, why wouldn't it be?

To answer the question, I think its simply because his name is 'Tyson Fury'. That and some people are disillusioned with the heavyweight scene so they are looking wherever they can for young heavyweights to talk about. Fury is also doing a good job of publicising himself, he's a good talker.

It's the name, clearly, because as a fighter, he's nothing to keep a close eye on.

The uppercut to his own head is also responsible for about 10 threads.
