Why the hell does Tyson Fury get so much pub on this site??!

Rising? We got 2 Heavyweights that are about to get title shots not to mention Wilder who would smash Fury right now.

Fury is awful and no doubt he will have that fragile British Glass Jaw all your other fighters have. The guy is like 6'9" and has a spare tire around his waist. How is that even possible for someone so tall? :roflatsch

 

Erm, thats quite possible and not at all uncommon.

 

No I'm genuinely interested who? Obviously Arreola and Chambers but younger up and coming types.

ps No offense was meant it was a friendly joke obviously the US has rising heavyweight stars they always will.

Class A,B, C . . . who cares? Every fighter has followers even bums.

 

They're not rising; they're established.

I'm a big Tyson Fury skeptic. I still haven't worked out what all the fuss is about. Although he does have a 7-0 fight record with 7 KOs; 100% KO record, which gets him some attention.

 

he's fought great comp for someone that has only 7 fights, He talks alot, He KO's people, He hits himself in the face with a monster uppercut.

 

His name is the main reason he has got so much press. But I love his interviews funny as ****.

I just hope he can back up all the talk.

It's the desperate heavyweight division, any half decent contender will get attention.

 

-his name
-his resume (good for only 7 fights)
-100% KO record
-fact he grows 2 inches between fights
-he's a very likeable guy - been to two fights where he was on the card and he came out beforehand and watched the bigger fights and signed an autograph/posed for pictures with everybody who asked
-he's eager to fight the best
-he has a big mouth

 

The reason he gets so much attention for me is because of the following:

1 - His Size
2 - His age he is like 20/21 thats quite young to be fighting at HW
3 - The HW division is pony
4 - He is actually a good talker
5 - He fights often
6 - He has fought some good fights being only 7 fights in
7 - His name

That being said I think, like many people, he will not go on to be a superstar, or even be relevant in about 3/4 years time. Hope I am wrong though.

Big cocky, white heavyweigth called 'Tyson Fury' is bound to get some attention. Unfortunatly he is terrible to watch.

 

Because people keep starting threads about him.

 

I dont see him as anything special but his name is cool.
