I love JMM one of the best there is right now... He is my current favorite fighter, but I will not support this unless they further stack the card and it's $29.99 or less for HD.

Rios and JMM for full PPV stack the card as well Come on **** these bums and put a great fighter vs the good fighter!

Because PPV/Regular TV/Premium Channels in the US works like this. Ordered in terms of level of money offered from Greatest to Least:

Major PPV: Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto. Enough said. Major fights, this is where boxers can squeeze the lemon and get liquid gold. Everybody puts up money, everybody makes money.

HBO World Championship Boxing/Showtime Championship Boxing: High level(usually) quality fights between two mid range stars, think pre-DLH Mayweather.

EPIX: Big Time Foreign fighters that don't have a strong US Presence(K-Bros.)

Major Promoter PPV: Fights that are in the promoters opinion too big for ESPN or Versus, but aren't to HBO/Showtime's standards for a premium card.

HBO BAD/ShoBox Next Gen: Where the younger prospect stars come to shine, sometime small draw world champions are on here as well. Pre-World title Andre Berto, Pre-world title Paul Williams, Pre-Title Kelly Pavlik and Pre-World Title Jermaine Taylor.

Major Promoter Card PPV 2: Same as before, but these are fights generally deemed to crappy to earn even a BAD date but someone on the card isn't going to take ESPN level cash. Think Kelly Pavlik-Miguel Espino, Pinoy Power and non Chavez Jr. Latin Fury Cards.

ESPN Level: This is where the level falls off a bit, generally these guys are fringe guys who might have a good fight but aren't going above the NABO/NABF level or are very young prospects, Deontay Wilder made a home on here for a few fights. Also, ESPN Deportes might carry a card here or there from South of the Border. This is probably where the card would have ended up

Regional Broadcast: Unless its Women's Boxing, generally no world title or even real contender sniffs this level. This is where that Fox Sports Network Northwest or MSG come into play. Regional fight cards with Larry the Car Salesman as the commentator.

Small Time PPV: Complete **** hits this level, you have to love boxing mroe than I-Butt because these cards are those shitty 1 or 2 camera Operations, with Larry the car salesman's ******ed brother as the lead commentator, they cost like 5 bucks and may not be shown over TV but only on the internet. Think Roy Jones Jr.-Max Alexander.

In regards to the thread point, HBO probably only offered HBO BAD Money, Bob didn't like it perhaps he would have had a net gain of nothing for himself, so he decided to roll the dice to see if he could get something more.
