Buddy, I see your point. Theres people who absolutely despise them for whatever reason and give them their due credit on the fact that they ARE talented, but like I mentioned earlier they are diamonds in a barrell of ****.

i dont care so much about thier losses, even though thier losses are embarsing ones to poor level of opposition.

and they showed lack of heart and desire to win in the losses, getting knocked down and not having heart to carry on.

more what their losses done to them,it caused them to be scared, safety first, even more boring fighters.they have made it harder to beat them, but also thier so much more boring and limited.

getting hurt to the shoulder and quitting while ahead with 2 rounds left from vitali was poor.

For me its more that they are over rated.they get the job done, but not in impressive fashion, but very catuious boring fashion,in a poor time for the division.

you would think if they were so great they would be knocking these bums out and not let fights go past the middle rounds.

you would think when they have so much height and reach advantage, that they would have more balls and be more daring to really use better more deadly combinations and take a risk or two to win by KO early on.

they have such heavy handed power, but they dont care to step it up and really try to entertain fans.

wlad actually throws bad ass upercuts and left hooks, but you dont see him do it much, hes mostly too scared,he only does jab over and over followed by right hands.

they dont press action and step up pace to be more exciting.

i think they have serious stamina issues, and can only fight in burst,or at a comfortable pace.

most opponents do not possess the skills or mentality to beat them.

and you see that from round 1 onwards, their opponents cannot land any good shots on them, but klitschkos dont dare take advatange of this and put a whooping on people.

even steward gets annoyed with wlads decision wins. he must prefer lewis so much more, despite being less techinical, lewis had guts,he went for knock outs,he had better mix of combinations, and he fought some top tough opponents in big mega fights.

also they seem to scare good opponents away by thier contracts with ridiulous rematching both of them straight away, with poor splits in pay comapared to previous champions.

them having options on fighters aswell is b/s.

they try and do get dangerous opponents before they fully develop and are experienced enough to be a proper threat.

i just think all they care about is thier money, thier titles, thier image and dont give a crap about any boxing fans.

i dont think buddy's previous comment was inclined towards describing them as 'diamonds' within a barrell of ****.....i personally wouldnt refer to them as diamonds

the klitschko's are like two jackals in a jungle void of a lion.

Half of these clowns are just delusional fanboys of soon-to-be or already knockout out Klitschko opponents, the other half simply joked too much about Wlad the chinny boy and Vitali the quitter, and now as the brothers beat the **** out of everyone in their way to the hall of fame, the haters look really really stupid, and they can't take personal failure.

It always hurts when you are proven wrong. Over and over and over and over and over again.

It says a hell of a lot that big heavyweight fights used to be MASSIVE events, and now ?
    Now one gives a ****.
The heavyweight division used to create such a huge amount of excitment, that build ups to fights were huge, everyone wanted to watch.
Now no one cares for the heavyweight scene, and thats down to having to clowns with no personality and no opponunts worth a ****.
Its what sadens me with the whole haye thing, he has the flair and the carisma to light up the heavyweight division again.
But for what ever reason the fights are not getting made.

You fans should be ecstatic these comparisons are being made.

Another thing you should do is stop combining the two!

Wlad will go down as a great, providing he finishes his career unbeaten. His best victories are byrd, chagaev, ibragimov, chambers and peter. Doesn't read like a who's who does it not? Still he should be a top 15 no problem.

As for vitali, a different story. On paper he would be competitive vs any heavyweight in history I believe, however it is just on paper. His legacy does not hold up. He beat hide then quit against byrd. He lost when he stepped up and had 4 years out. His top 5 victories are hide, sanders, arreola, peter(much worse version than from the first wlad fight) and danny williams. He is more well known for a good losing effort to lewis.

So accept the scrutiny and hope that history shows your idol holds up to it. However his brother has lost his best years and as such probably won't break the top 50.

You want to know the truth...I think it's because a lot of fans put too much nationalism into boxing.

Another reason is that many of the fans want a "gangster/thuggish/rapper/tough guy" image.
The Klitschko Brothers, educated, speaking multiple languages, etc... don't fit that bill.

Myself, I don't care what country you are from, if you are someone who gets in the ring, and dedicates yourself to the sport, and doesn't act like an ass (see "gangster/thuggish/rapper/tough guy"), than I'm probably going to be a fan.
