I agree. Im not a Haye fan, but as a boxing fan I want to see him fight. Enough is enough. I want to see if he is as good as he and his fans say he is

 

I agree as well. He is had what two fight since fighting Mormeck in Nov-07. Way inconsistent.

 

.................and let me add that Wladimir chose the next highest available fighter who wasn't related to him, was undefeated, & happened to be for unification on top of it all.

He went on to knock that fighter down for the first time in that fighter's career, won virtually every round & stopped him.

There is just no pleasing the real haters.

He is not worse than Byrd and Ruiz. Although, I must admit, I did enjoy seeing Byrd get knocked out.

 

He didn't look scared to me. The internet warriors all think they'd just go out balls to the wall against Heavyweight punchers.................it just shows their ignorance to the sport they profess to love. :-(

 

We'll soon find out, I suspect. If Haye has any sense he'll try to get Chagaev in the ring as soon as possible and beat him quicker than WALDO did. I've been consistent in this point despite being a 'hater' whatever that means.

I do know that just because you beat someone easier than someone else did doesn't mean you'll beat the other guy that beat them....but I do know it's the way to earn yourself a shot. If Haye wants to earn a shot then Chagaev was ring magazine number 3 behind WALDO and VITLAY until WALDO fought him, so he's the guy he should aim for, unless VITLAY is prepared to fight him, which it looks like he isn't.

 

I've been saying it for awhile now, it's obvious Wladimir will never have the skin pigmentation to appease certain "fans" of the sport. That's very sad.

 

This is the kind of thing that makes people like me take the **** out of people like you. Stop bringing up meaningless statistics, Chagaev was dog-**** and his resume was average, don't try to make him out to be some kind of world beater. His performance against WALDO proved that he was awful, some of us saw it coming, you know :yep

 

in certain sports it's obviously true. the other way around in certain other sports.

and larry holmes was not loved you ignorant fools. what the hell? RUSKULL you must've been a fan for like two years. read his biography ffs. Holmes is so much more appreciated now b/c of his brilliant boxing.
