I missed that one, thankfully but there was a Johnny Nelson title fight several years ago that was a ****-stain on the boxer shorts of boxing (if that makes sense) Johnny Nelson had the nickname "the entertainer" at the time, it was the most inappropriate nickname ever in the history of the sport. Apart from Ricky being introduced as the 'Hitman' when he fought Pac, obviously.
Dude, even if Haye could somehow TKO or KO Chagaev faster than Wlad did he'd be beating a fighter that's coming off a loss. That's like banging a girl who's already had her cherry popped. Of course it's easier...............:yep
I hope he doesn't do it. Haye would beat the living **** out of him, and Toney is one guy I don't want to see that happen to. He's got away with it at HW so far by fighting powerful guys with no skill (Peter) or great fighters who have slipped (Holyfield) but he doesn't need a young lion like Haye or a big guy like WALDO or VITLAY in his world. I hope Toney has the sense to retire. ****, he's achieved so much as it is, he doesn't need this at his age.
Dan Rafael said on his chat today that Finkel told him Vitali's next opponent is likely Haye. Arreola is supposedly fighting Toney in LA. It was between Arreola and Haye and Arreola is out. Bad move for Haye to fight VitKlit coming off a 10 month layoff. I have my doubts about Haye making it to the ring anyway.
I merely stated the facts of Chagaev's credentials. I never said his resumé was awesome either. He did beat the giant fair & square................
Of course it is but I'm talking about the perspective of the casual fan. Have you forgotten that you Klit-ites have occasionally made cases for WALDOS greatness because he beat Mercer better than Lewis did? Of course that line of argument went quiet after the Rahman fight, obviously :yep I'm just pointing out an obvious tactic that Haye could use that's all.
If Vitali fights Haye we'll never get to see Wladimir beat his ass....................:-( Haye will retire.
