You have a point there with the Mercer comparision. Many thought Lewis lost that fight although I had LL ahead myself. That was a better version of Ray than the one Wlad fought IMO and that means it's fact. :yep

you're looking like a ****ing dumbass now. i clearly stated that wlad should not be compared to such technicians in the lower divisions. especially the slick ones. wlad is nowhere near being the boxer. hopkins v. calzaghe was boring as ****(hell that was better than wlad vs. chagaev) but hop vs. pavlik wasn't. neither was him vs. tarver. even at old age. wlad dominates his opponents with jabs and straight rights. hopkins has so much more to his game that this comparison is insulting.

look at it this way. wlad doesn't teach boxing lessons. guys like hopkins, toney, pbf, jmm, chad dawson do.

that fight was awful and it was all Borenard's fault. He looked like John Ruiz with all the holding, clinching, grabbing, and wrestling. Not to mention faking the low blows.

It would have been a much more entertaining fight for the fans if Borenard fought Calzaghe straight up instead of all the holding etc.

 

I heard he's available and he likes movies......................probably that new Bruno thingy.
