You forgot to add Toney's fights with Thadzy an McGroom... Your statement doesn't make much sense by the way. Toney has had 82 professional bouts so far which makes him one of the most active fighters in boxing today. It is thus only normal that some fights end in a controversial manner, especially when you know Toney's tendancy to fight down to the level of his opponent...
Well if you add your 2, that makes it 12 out of 82 pro fights. That's still a pretty high percentage, activity aside.
Toney has actually been giving the judges shitloads of giftcards and coupons to Hardees burgers before all his fights. Being a devotee of Hardees for so many years, the company gives him these coupons and giftcards for free, in appreciation for all the eating he does there Hence, so many controversial decisions
Wrong. Overall Toney has been treated more than kindly by the judges. Only a blind nuthugger such as Frost would claim otherwise.
The judges liked Toney in the Dave Tiberi fight, I have to admit. That was a close fight when Toney was on the flu and Tiberi should have got the nod. Haven't seen it in years, that's just my opinion. What I meant is that Toney suffered more often from bad or controversial decisions than benefiting from them.
