Holmes' win over Norton is far more exciting than anything Wlad has done. But for the record I have been critical of Holmes too. And please don't mention Wlad and Ali in the same breath. Ali had several fights that were more exciting and just plain better than Wlad's.

Yes, he had his fair share of stinkers as well. He fought some dodgy opponents too. But when he needed to step up and be great, he was.

Who cares who likes them or not, they're both filthy rich successful athletes.

You can't force people to like certain fighters when they already decided not to. They will always give you a reason why they do so, whether it's the real one or not. Some will come with pathetic excuses like "it's because of their fans" as if that was a valid reason.

The K bros are mostly ignored by casual American fans and media but Americans usually get interested in sports or divisions they're good at and the fact they haven't had serious challengers at heavy for a while explains their desinterest.

The rabid anti Klitschko hate comes from the UK, as their fighters have had their asses handed to them by K2, not to mention the David Price fiasco who Brits were very enthusiastic about, thinking/hoping he would be the new Wlad which shows how hypocritical they are.

 

Because they have a big mouth!! If you're not really the best because you haven't met the best opposition, then shut the **** up.. And also because they didn't get all the best ranked opponents even though the best ranked opponents after them sucked!

What are Wlad's greatest moments? Who was his greatest rival? Which are his most exciting fights?
Which of his fights captured the imagination and made the world sit up and watch?

And yeah, Holmes v Norton was a tremendous fight. I think your problem is that you can't appreciate any heavyweight not named Klitschko.
