I think it's more like Peter was completely shot having absorbed multiple beatings after his first encounter with Wlad, including one from big brother. Peter went on after the Wlad fight to get stopped earlier by Helenius. Same deal with Wlad vs Brewster II. Wlad didn't figure anything out, he just waited until the opponents in question were shot enough that a rematch posed no threat to him.

Vitali, I believe, is at least respected because unlike Wlad, Vitali throws a solid number of punches and fights in a less timid manner, on the inside and the outside, and unlike Wlad, Vitali has proven that he could at least compete with a real elite HW in Lennox Lewis. Vitali's two losses are also somewhat flukish in terms of circumstances, whereas Wlad's three losses were definitive. The atrocious level of opposition in the HW division and Wlad's consistent lackluster performances against said opposition don't help his case.

Sitting atop on garbage is exactly the definition of Ali's career.
Actually, no, he wasn't even atop of it, he had to rob some of his opponents, like glass jaw Ken Norton, that won 2 of their 3 fights, and that super middleweight called Jimmy Joung, along with others.

Actually, it was Ghaye that did nothing but run his filthy mouth for THREE YEARS, without even earning a mandatory shot.
Wlad was so tired of his bullshits he fought Ghaye as a voluntary defence.
    Eat this :deal

You are wasting your time then.
Search some Wlad-Povetkin fight threads, you'll see derrik was screaming at the top of his lounges that Wlad "will never fight Povetkin, never, you can bet on it, and if he'll do, he'll get ktfoh!1".
He's still hurt about it. Now Wlad has an olympic gold medallist on his resume. And he beat the number 2.
    Oh the hurtness! :smoke

That's impossible, at nazi's time, the Klitschkos would have been killed. Nazis hated slavic/jewish countries and did what they could to annihilate them. They killed thousands and thousands of Ukrainians, Russians, Poles, etc.; in any one of those nations, the memory of the nazis and the hellish things they did is well alive, and it would be really dangerous to call a pole, or a ukrainian, or even a russian, "nazi".

Really? For what i saw, the general consensus is that Marciano "would have walked trough" the klitschkos, in every era-comparison there has been. Which is funny, of course, considering that Marciano wasn't even a big cruiser.

I appreciate the Klitschkos and think they have been very good for boxing.
They sell out massive stadiums and make it an event when they box.
I thought the Klitschkos were appreciated but if they are not I would guess there are several reasons as to why but one of them being that they have become so dominant and been able to take care of top challengers with ease.
Wlad is far from the first fighter to hold, look at Ruiz, Ward, Hopkins and Hatton yet Hatton, Ward and Hopkins have fan followings.
Another could be that they have done it their own way and still fill massive venues around Europe

No, it was a mandatory 50/50 split for the WBA belt.

Where do you get this **** from? Wlad is not fast. Throwing a single straight punch isn't indicative of speed. Any fighter can throw a fast straight punch down the pipe.
Speed is determined on a number of factors. Throwing in combination being one of the and Wlad strings punches together like a turtle.

Holmes was fast, Ali was fast. Wald would look like a walking statue next to them.
Here are a bunch of guys the same size as Wlad who were/are faster.
    Riddick Bowe
    Tony Tucker
    Buster Mathis
    Carl Willliams
    Deonty Wilder

That was not a mandatory. Haye only took the fight cause he was being force to face his actual mandatory Chagaev, or Povetkin if that couldn't be made. Haye was prepared to lose to an ATG Wlad rather than the other two basically. He was dominated and lost every round not surprisingly.

Haye took the fight because he wanted to beat the HW champion to become HW champion. Its the only reason he moved up to HW.. Fukin hell:patsch
