Why the Klitschko's are unappreciated?

No they wouldnt, most people dont like Wlad because hes boring and fights like a *****, despite having a huge size advantage over his opponents. Why doesnt Chad Dawson have many fans?

Most people who do like Wlad, like him purely because hes white and nothing to do with his talent. This is evident on this forum, most of them always target black fighters specifically for their critiscm and at the same time, refusing to accept anything critism towards Wlad. Even though its blatantly evident that fighters especially heavyweights greater than Wlad have come and gone. But because these guys are the wrong skin colour, Wlad fans refuse to acknowledge this and like to downplay their achievements. (See Morrison Destroys Ali thread)

Switch it round, make Wlad black. He would have even lesser fans.Maybe none at all.

Unappreciated by whom? Outside of a few loudmouths, people acknowledge them as HOF (or ATG) caliber heavyweights. As for winning over the minority, there's no need- ya can't please all the people all the time. Keep winning, and the rest will sort itself out.

the klitsckos aren't underappreciated, they are over appreciated and we know why as well and its got nothing to do with talent or skillset

 

lewis was more popular in america, he used to do ppv routinely. i remember watching tua vs. lewis as a kid and thinking he was the most boring fighter i had ever seen. you'd have to figure out why lewis was more popular, because it certainly had nothing to do with his style.

 

Lewis was able to piggyback off of Holyfield and Tyson, the last two mainstream U.S. heavyweights, which got him way more recognition here than if he'd never fought them. There were a lot of people here who still thought Tyson would pull it off, believe it or not.

Kinda like a Pac- DLH and Floyd - DLH scenario. Oscar did those guys a huge favor by fighting them because of the exposure even a faded Oscar provided.

The Klits are only considered HOF because they're the best in a terrible era. In the 90s they'd have been nothing special, but in today's era, they're one eyed men in the land of the blind.
