Cotto climbs high into the P4P#10 after beating Mosley. Mosley drops down. Margarito beats Cotto to move into the P4P#10. Cotto drops down. Mosley then beats Margarito to move into the upper echelons of the P4P list, whilst Cotto struggles to hold on to his top 10 place. So despite Cotto beating Mosley, because of timing, Mosley somehow ends up a few places higher than him for beating somebody that Cotto couldn't beat. So essentially in a 3 way triangle, even though they're all 1 - 1, Mosley ends up highest because he has the most recent win.....
.....When they put Mosley at #4 I stopped paying attention entirely once and for all - and this from the same box of tools who denied Mosley the Ring belt. They can't keep from doing the wrong thing, these Dumbie Fischer caliber **** stains..
There has to be some emphasis on more recent wins otherwise current form would not be taken into account. Should Roy Jones be on there because he beat Hopkins? I understand the point that it is 1-1-1 between the three fighters but that does not necessarily mean that the results would be the same on current form. Not to mention the fact that Mosely was only closely beaten by Cotto but destroyed Margo, whereas Cotto only has the close victory and the KO loss at the hands of Margo. With all that in mind it seems fine to me.
