    2 points:
    - Doping test: since Floyd (self-proclaimed face of boxing) is taking a new step (with Mosley) into a clean sport, he will claim Manny refuses to be part of it and so far I am not sure what Manny would decide.
    - Purse split: Pac seems to have done little in terms of PPV numbers therefore May (who should do big numbers with Mosley) will ask for at least 60-40.

All props to Manny and his promoter to make the fight in a stadium.

I think Floyd has the edge in terms of negotiation because he made a smart move with the doping test (national media coverage) and puts pressure on Manny with the big numbers he should do with Shane.
However in terms of legacy I believe Floyd needs Manny to show all of us what he is made of in a fight with the best P4P fighter.

Hope the fight can still be made because at the end of the day that's what I wanna see: a fight between the 1st and 2nd best fighters of this era.

    2 More Reasons:

    1. $15-20m. Estimate of Pac's purse versus Clottey.
    2. $30m. Estimate of May's purse versus Mosley.

Clottey was easy for Pac and I think Mosley, at 38, won't be too much harder for May. When they can make that much money winning against third parties, are they going to want to take the risk of fighting each other?

Team Pac knows deep down their money train is not good enough to beat Mayweather.... THATS why the fight did not & likely never will happen.

    End of.

Exactly the attitude Roach & co a praying for so that their man can escape without either an ass whuppin or backlash from the fans.

I dont buy this Pac hype bull****... he`s a very good fighter, of course he is but he badly struggles with certain styles & Mayweather fits that bill.

Mayweather is on a different level to Pacquiao & everyone involved with Manny knows this even if the delusional little twat doesnt himself.

I agree. Pac has looked great recently but these have all been vs boxers that are either not in their peak or just suit pacs style. I actually dont give him as much credit as most do. He has not had a real test in his lst few fights.

The clottey fight was a joke and a massive mismatch. The result alone proves this. Why did i bother staying up till stupid o clock when i already knew what the result would be!!!
The cotto fight was not against the real Cotto
    Hatton fight, dont even bother.
    ODLH.... Please?!

The only two that i want to see him fight to gain true hero Status is PBF or SSM. I honestly think Pac will loose to both. Floyd is too smart and slick and Shane punches too hard.

he has already said he would do it if the commision asked for it

why on earth he should do it to please floyd and have him give into his demands is beyond me

i will blame both pac and pbf if the fight doesnt happen...if they really wanna fight each other, they should compromise in the middle......

its gonna be a mortal sin for both of them if they dont fight...they both rob humanity the greatest fight in the last 10 years....

I think they'll compromise...he took the blood test 20 days before the Clottey fight..that will come in to play and hopefully they will settle around 16-17 days

Did anyone else notice that emmanuel pacquiao wanted it in Texas? A state that's known for giving stupid decisions favoring the come forward fighter, eg: Whitaker vs Chavez

and they skipped the usual basic drug testing with his clottey fight

but referring what you said about texas, no way in hell i would fight anyone in texas, with their atrocious history of bad decisions
