Why the PBC dropped the heavyweight division?

    They haven't put a heavyweight match on their cards in a long time. Some of their boxers fight in other promoters' events, others are inactive. Wilder, Ruiz, Ortiz, Sanchez, Lenier Pero, Washington, Breazeale, Arreola, Helenius, Demirezen, Kownacki, Vikhryst, Sirenko, Carlos Negron. It's as if no one in this list has anything to do with Al Haymon anymore.

    Ruiz fights in a Turki event. Wilder gets closer to Hearn.
    No more heavy with Al Hayman apparently...

    HW is too expensive given that there are no good American HWs post-Wilder, so you don't have the talent and can't make domestic matchups. Considering PBC's cash problems, getting out of HW makes sense for Al.

    Wilder was their only hope and he's now 38 and clearly washed up. The rest of those HW'S are just as old but even worse.

    Turki runs the HW division now plus wilder is finished
