*Suffocating someone to unconsciousness or death... yep, great, safe sport. *Bashing someone WHILE THEY ARE unconscious while the crowd cheers deliriously...yep, great sport. *Snapping legs in half, dislocation elbows, shoulders, knees... yep, great sport. What is the most fights a single fighter has racked up over the years in MMA or UFC ? .
Way more skill, competition, drastic level of damage and/or death because of the repeated head shots compared to good ol MMA, it's not even close on any level.
Both will be legislated out of existence if they don't dramatically change the rules. Just look at every other 'contact" sport. NFL and NHL are barely even contact anymore.
Pigs arse. The intent of UFC is to do as much damage to an opponent as possible. No one tries to win on points. They try to win by bashing unconscious fighters, breaking their arms, suffocating them. Pure animal degradation of a 'sport'. Give the c***s a sword each. Give them some dignity instead of rolling round on the floor covered in their own sh*t and blood... .
Boxing inflicts more comas and deaths on its participants on a year per year basis than MMA does. And the physiological reasons for why this will always be the case, should be obvious. Everything else said in this subject is just hyperbole rhetoric.
Homosexuals rubbing their dicks on each other's butts. I understand that there are people who like those kind of things, but I dont. I am a freedom guy, though, if they like it.... let them enjoy it... as long as they dont force anyone to watch that crap (like hearns forces us boxing fans to wach chicks boxing if we want to enjoy a british fightnight)....
Says you. How many boxing matches are there in the world per year? How many UFC type fights are there? Obviously there are hundreds, if not thousands of times more of amatuer and pro boxing fights in the world than UFC per year. So, Just 1 UFC death would equate to hundreds if not thousands of UFC deaths if there were just as many UFC fights as boxing. So dont throw your pretend stats if your IQ isnt up to it mate. .
As a lifelong boxing fan both as a competitor and as a observer from the safe side of the ropes, i say that boxing has much of the time become a joke, it is a rare in post fight analysis where the result is not debated for good reason, or the score cards questioned, we have title fights like the upcoming Fury/Chisora nonsense, and the promoters treat the boxing fans like mugs with the cards they put on. MMA have generally got their game sorted, results are overall legit, no damned rematch clauses etc Has the OP ever taken part in a martial art like judo or jiu jitsu? If they have then will know that respect before, during and after fight (and training) conclusion is rigid, way more rigid than any boxing gym or ring, and they "grovel like animals" as you put it during their ground game. Boxing will always be my sport, but reading the negative nonsense spouted here about the UFC and their competitors is farcical, both sports have health risks, a sport like boxing where in title fights you could be being hit in the head for 36 minutes within a 48 minute time frame, is no less dangerous or more gentlemanly than a UFC title fight of possible 25 minute duration.
why? robberies done on purpose for the moneyman is way more of an issue and has surpassed boxing years ago. its not inept judges.
Boxing has a ratio of 7.82 deaths per year, 13.4 times higher than the same number in MMA matches. But if we just look at the known boxing deaths in the same 12-year period (2007-2019), there have been 21 deaths in total, which is three times more than in MMA for the same period of time.
