Yes the guy was a nice guy but he was made to look bad,and anyway who cares if he was a nice guy or not,he is a legend. Was Sonny Liston a nice guy?
I think the fascination with Tyson is that even though he could be pretty ****ing evil, there was always a sense with him that he knew he was rotten, wanted to be better, and just couldn't get there. A lot of guys identify with that. The stupid mistakes he made were usually emotional mistakes, not calculated wrongdoing. I'm not including the **** he did as a young gangster who didn't know right from wrong, but as an adult. Your opinion may vary. I'm not going to try to say Tyson was a good man or an admirable man, just that I always got the feeling that he tried to be.
Not to mention she took off her little panty pad and left it on the bathroom sink for him to find so he would know she was ready for action. The more you know about that case, the more it stinks. He should have gotten a real lawyer. I don't remember the details, but the lawyer he used was selected for him by someone who wanted to make sure they kept control over him, I think it was Don King but I can't be bothered to look up the details just now.
he bit only a small piece of holyfield's ear. think of the damage he could have done if he had not been a nice guy.
http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1355/is_n21_v83/ai_13610075 Lawyers for former heavyweight boxing champ Mike Tyson, who is serving 6 years in prison for ****, allege in court papers that Tyson's accuser Desiree Washington, had previously falsely accused another young man of ****. In a 17-page motion filed with the Indiana Court of Appeals, Tyson said that Washington falsely accused Wayne Walker, a high school friend and classmate in Coventry, Rhode Island, of raping her in October, 1989.
He definelty had a caring side. He was very generous in helping people out with monetary issues and its been documented many times. The press can portray you anyway they want. They'll make a good man look evil, an evil man look good, and a freedom fighter to be made a terrorist. It's all relative
What I struggle with on that **** case, is people suggesting that Don King in some way wanted Tyson found guilty and that's why he hired a **** lawyer for him (he actually wasn't a **** lawyer, he was a **** hot lawyer, just not a specialist in this kind of trial) King was Tysons promoter at the time, why the hell would he want to see Tyson found guilty and end up in prison?
this was posted by Danny on the 'Boxing Books' thread: The Inner Ring, by Rudy Gonzales. Rudy was Mike Tyson's personal chauffeur 7 close friend for 5 1/2 years. By reading this book, people will realise that Mike Tyson was a cpmpletely different person out of the ring back in the day. Quite a nice guy from what is told in the book!
Correct. I still see Tyson as the 'victim' in that Givens fiasco. If I'd been married to that ***** I think I'd have punched her in the grill too. Horrible, disgusting human being.
Rudy has some choice words about Eddie Murphy too, from what I remember  I've read 2 books on the Tyson **** trial, one was called 'down for the count' and the other one I can't remember but I think it was written by the prosecutor because I wanted to read both sides of the argument. After reading the prosecutors book I started to think maybe he was guilty after all but changed my mind again after reading 'down for the count' Both books are a good read though.
No, it's not beating women, it is ****. It is a **** he was convicted of. Keep ****ing telling yourself he is the poor poor victim in all this you pitiful deluded ****. I have respect for what Tyson achieved as a boxer. As a man he is a piece of ****.
No i didnt say that. I said he was convicted of ****. In a court. What else do i have to go on? How do you know im white? Are you racist?
