Why Vitali-Gomez will be more competetive than expected....

It will be interesting, no doubt. But, I've seen Gomez, and I don't think he has the skills to defeat Vitali. I could be wrong, but, the guy got KO by Yanqui Diaz, who is slow as hell with average power. Once Vitali clocks him with that right hand, it will be over.

 

Um, Vitali hurt Peter and rocked him easier than Wlad did. He also stopped Peter.

 

Gomez is a bigger, better and more in shape verision of James Toney. I think JC Gomez is the best counter puncher in the divison. His skills are very good, but so are Vitali's and Gomez won't be able to hold him off. That will be the story of the fight.

Vitali is going to destroy Gomez, if the fight aint over in under 6 rounds I will be shocked. Gomez will not be able to handle Vitali's power, his legs will be all over the place after taking a the first solid straight right from Klitschko. If Sam Peter knockout victim Yanqi Diaz can have Juan's chin shattered to pieces, I can only imagine what Vitali will do to it.

 

Yes Suge. Gomez is better at heavyweight than Toney was. He hits harder, boxes better, and has more stamina.

 

Gomez beat Virchis, Sam and McCall and he would havebeaten Mesi back when Mesi was top 5. I think Gomez would beat Peter, Haye, Arreola, Toney, Maskaev, Rahman right now.
