It is completely unknown how long Arreola wozld last against those fighters. Holyfield had his hands full with Bert Cooper and Bobby Chyz and Arreola would probably knock out both. Tyson went the distance with a few Arreola - caliber fighters in his prime. Ali couldn't take out little Doug Jones who would be dead meat against Vitali. Vitali is a tough one to beat H2H, against anybody.
Why Ali is not an elite HW: He went 44 rounds in three fights with Frazier. Can you imagine Frazier against Foreman or a prime Tyson. He would be lucky to make it past the 1st round. Max 3 rounds or even 2 rounds, when Foreman took him out, Tyson with his speed might have done it faster. By your logic, Ali is not en elite HW Some fighters are good at taking out opponents early, others wre good at dominating them over a longer fight. So what? Vitali gets the job done. You could point out numerous fighters that troubled Louis, Ali or Tyson that Vitali would probably wipe the floor with. You really think Schmeling would ever beat Vitali or 188 pound Doug Jones would to 15 rounds with Vitali? But that doesn't mean Vitali is better than Ali. Vitali shows is greatness by consistency. He never had a really bad performance in his career. Never lost convoncingly, after a fight with Vitali in it you could never honestly say the other guy was better, not lucky decisions for him etc. He is lacking wins over big names, yes, but certainly has other qualities.
Larry has one ****en huge chip on his ol shoulder but he had a world class heart, not too mention jab as well. I only mentioned Holmes as a slight comparison only to the Klit bros in the fair dues are not given. Larry will certainly not be remember as one of the fans favourites with his bitter tongue.
The guy spoke from the heart. Definitely a top 5 ATG Heavyweight. Would've murdered either Klit with his hammer of a jab.
