Few things, Foreman destroys Frazier, who of course had whipped Ali. Norton gets a win and a dubious loss to Ali. Ken gets crushed. Ali s no longer looking like the fleet footed man of the 60 s.
George is the new liston, Louis, Dempsey all rolled in to one.. How can old man Ali beat him???

    But he did.

Yes, there was a big difference between Liston and Foreman in terms of cutting down the ring. Foreman was great at it, Liston not so much.

You are a good poster, again I do take your point but I am not a debater, I leave debates for the politicians, way above my pay grade. I am on Social Security. And I always believe that everyone has the right to their own opinions.

Not debating you, sir - we are agreed on the crucial elements.

Just using your posts to flesh out some of my thoughts about the elements that I see as being noteworthy to the question at hand. Your initial post served as somewhat of a muse for me to expand on things that I'm sure I've said before and will likely repeat again. I tend to come back to the forum for a month or two and then disappear into family life again.

Everyone does have a right to their own opinions - my apologies if I have unintentionally given the impression that I didn't respect yours.

You have earned my respect, as I said, you are a good poster. Your points are true and concise. No need to apologize, look forward to viewing your posts, they are good. And I believe that family comes first, I am a family man too. I do not spend my entire life on the forum too, although I like to read and post at times, these are great guys with different views on this forum.
