Chenko cracked him real good with that left hook to the body
Canelo is the faster puncher but never landed such a beauty of a shot
Any reason after 24 rounds that Canelo never had such a moment?

Body shots leave you vulnerable for counters and Canelo was reluctant to commit. His plan was to stick and move with occasional flurries and win a decision.

The assumption was that GG doesnt respect Canelo’s power so canelo had to be cautious and mix offense with defense.

Sergei showed no respect in that ring and wasnt scared of GG.

It’s hard to hurt somebody to the body when they are fighting half scared. Canelo pulled alot of his punches back rather than punching through the target in fear of incoming shots.

Sergei really dug to the body and commited to his offense.

Canelo only has power in the first few rounds imo, after that he cuts back, see all the time with him.
Add to that his record doesn't suggest he's a knockout fighter,if he was then Chavez would of been toast.

I know DV isn't tall for a middleweight but I was surprised how big he is,his arms look like tree trunks lol.
I think he's so well against Canelo on account of his body punching, would prefer to see that than a Golovkin rematch.

What fight did you watch? Canelo went to the body often. It was Golovkin that was too reluctant tot throw body shots as he knew the risk was too severe against a counter puncher like Canelo. That means Canelo altered his fight plan and made him fight his fight opposed to his own.
GGG is an aggressive hooker and body attacker like we saw against Roll and Chenko . Against Canelo he was mostly a jabber.

I don't want to see it, there's no way he dominates that for a clear W, if it's a close fight which it would be or he'll lose decisevly he'll take another L. He should fight Jacobs or someone like Saunders.

Yes good point mate, not taken that into consideration. After losses to Golovkin and Jacobs where he acquitted himself well I don’t think anyone would have a go at him for taking a few showcase fights to rebuild.
Always remember George Groves in this perpetual thing of losing title fights and rebuilding again and in his case it paid off.

Absolutely in the second fight it was Canelo that showed Golovkins vulnerability to body shots.Great tactics given Golovkins chin and ability to cover up,upstairs.
Michael Montero said a while ago that he’s no doubt that Golovkin will hit the canvas before he retires and I agree with this.

It's not a rebuilding process, I just don't want him to feel like he got ****ed 3 times. Bro that **** would be mentally debilitating. He arguably beat GGG and Jacobs but he didn't get the calls, don't you think that's disheartening?
