Why was Clottey ever considered a top ww??he never beat anyone

he very good and he was a top player in the what ever division he was in but he just wasnt ever the man in the division . always top 5 or so.

he gave miguel a hell of a fight but i still had cotto winning a very close fight.

clottey was looking good vs margs but he got hurt and whent on his bicycle and just didnt engage in ne confrontation and he ended a losing

i dont remember the judah fight that well it ended up with judah gettin cut but from wut i remember i remember clottey gettin the better

and he did work diego corrales

 

Replays showed it was clearly an uppercut, not a headbutt that ****ed Judah up.

FYI true fight fans knew that Clottey was robbed a TKO win there we stuck round and paid attention long enough to know what went down try doing that next time

and he also used his melon that gashed cotto and if it wasn't for that i believe cotto would have stopped him cause you can see that gash effected cotto in the mid rounds although i thought cotto won the majority of them but that gash was effecting him

Clottey kick the **** out of Judah and made him quit. He beat Judah more impressively than Floyd & Cotto. And the cut was caused by an uppercut, not headbutt. Judah was on his way to getting KO'ed the next round, that's why he quit.

Clottey fought Cotto and a Margarito to even terms. He didn't get the decisions, but both fights could be draws and nobody would have protested.

Clotty was always a top welter. He doesn't get enough respect from fans because of his on-sided loss to Pac, but Clottey was on the level of Cotto, whether people like it or not.
