After watching the boxing match DLH vs Forbes I noticed DLH`s face
was really punished. His face did not look that hurt against Mayweather. I wonder why.

The fight with PBF was a very cautious fight on both sides. Oscar feared PBF's counterpunching and PBF feared Oscar's left hook.

The fight with Forbes was both fighters throwing everything they had.

Also, Oscar's defence during the Mayweather fight was freaking amazing. It is really underrated. But I still think Mayweather's punches were counted as punches when you can see them hitting Oscar's gloves. I think overall Floyd landed more but not much more.

In sequences in DLH's fight with Forbes, you could see DLH not respect Forbes punching power, thus DLH would invite Forbes to throw shots, so that he could try and time him to throw one big shot.

....during the midst of a Forbes fast combination, DLH played no mind to getting hit, as he tried to get in a big shot right inbetween Forbes shots.
The big shot never came for DLH, one that his timing may have been slightly off, and secondly, Forbes has a slippery defense and a good chin to boot.

.....anyways, thats why I felt DLH looked more marked up against Forbes.
DLH I dont feel would ever try and time Mayweather for a big shot the way he did Forbes. Mayweather is just too sharp and accurate a counterpuncher for DLH to get away with disrespecting him in that way .

You dont think those sharp counters by Mayweather can hurt?
Just you go watch the Mayweather-Hatton fight!

I watched Mayweather connecting power clean punches on DLH face but
    DLH was not hurt.

There was a sequence in their fight after a Mayweather right hand, that DLH's knees buckled.....

....on another occasion, Mayweather landed a vicious hook to the body and followed it up with a right hand, clean and plum on DLH's face.

.....DLH was at the very least, visibly stunned on both those occasions....
...Mayweather never came close to being as stunned by a shot as DLH was with those two sequences I pointed out.

.....and its not the power that does it for Mayweather, its his quickness, speed, and precise accuracy that lands when the opponent just cant see it coming.

There is no question in my mind, Mayweather hurt DLH, and DLH never got off a clean enough shot to test Mayweather's beard.

I think in round 11 De La Hoya landed a flush left, that sent Floyd into the ropes for a moment.

He's no where near as feather fisted as Forbes.

Feather fisted enough to KO somebody who was in the top 10 p4p rankings. Also Oscar's knees did buckle when Floyd hit him with a right hand, some of you need to watch that fight again.

IMO De La Hoya never looked hurt against either Forbes or Mayweather. The best punch landed over both fights was Mayweather's right uppercut-counter when De La Hoya had him against the ropes.

exacly, but it was a straight right that caught DLH off guard and had him buzz for a split sec, and DLH did let his hands go against forbes, something he was not willing to against floyd
