Why was Floyd crying?

He broke down after taking the title from Genaro Hernandez, realizing he just did it.

 

As Tom Hanks would tell you himself, "There's no crying in boxing!".

But yeah, seriously, there's not a single person here who hasn't cried themselves, probably many, many times more than Floyd has....there just weren't any cameras around to catch it. After the demanding and brutal training regiment the guy puts himself through before a fight, coupled with the degree of dedication that very few here cannot even begin to fathom, the man has the right to cry! Personally, it's often relieving to me to see that these machines on our television sets are actually human after all.

Don't get your hopes up too much on that one (the 9-5 thing), you may end up quite disappointed.

Arreola's was just really awkward to watch because of his constant swearing.

Floyd cried because he was happy he won, though its sort of over the top because he was supposed to win.


But Arreola's pathetic attempt to try and sound manly by cursing while crying was just disturbing

 

Void cried because he saw Pac!

 

It's okay to cry but crying for 9 minutes and hugging back and forth with a guy on national tv is disturbing.

 

He thought people were gonna miss him after retiring...then comes Pac. He came back thinking Pac would be an easy fight, until he sees what Pac does to Hatton and Cotto. Then it's back to vacation... "I love this sport", then fight Pac you ****ing *****.

 

Apparently Ellerbe had just broken some bad news, that he had just been diagnosed with erectile dysfunction.

Floyd was just a little sad that all the workouts he had given the Ellerbe-sausage had pushed it over the edge. He had won the fight, but his victory celebrations would be lacking a certain something.... it must have been poignant.

 

He came out wearing a gladiator suit and pink gloves and produced a 12rd **** shotout against an ATG BALDOMIR.atsch
He got slated, people boo him, and Larry Merchant just pointed it out.
Thats when Floyd realized that his charade of being the best was being exposed.
