Boldimir beat Judah for undisputed and couldn't keep the belt because he couldn't afford to pay the sanctioning fees. Mayweather beat Judah and then beat Boldimir so really he was the undisputed Welterweight champion.

He didn't need him. Margo is a disgraced glove loading cheat who never beat another fighter of note after getting busted for loaded gloves. His whole career is called into question we don't know if he was any good, more than likely he wasn't which is why he resorted to loading his gloves.

That's all that mattered to many of us at the time. Mayweather was "the man" because he beat "the man". A collection of alphabet trinkets had, and continues to have, little relevance to that notion. In that regard, Mayweather was "undisputed".

Floyd beat the top 2 titleholders at WW at the time back to back in his first 2 fights at the weight. He was the unified WBC/IBF and lineal champion.

Ducked Margarito, ducked Paul Williams. Never wanted to fight Tim Bradley. Ducked Pacquiao for years.

Even think he didn't really fancy the Brook fight.

Most fighters don’t beat anyone of note at the end of their careers just as no fighter needs anyone since it’s a pick your opponent sport. But Floyd did duck the longest reigning belt holder at 147 when he got to that weight. You can make up all the excuses you want but he never did prove that he could beat him. Woulda, coulda, shoulda doesn’t count for anything.

He didn't duck him. Arum lowballed him and offered him nothing for Cotto Hatton and wasn't willing to try and make a fight with Oscar. Funny when he leaves arum he fights 3 of those 4 guys and margo was the weakest and less known of the 4. You can't fight everyone but if pbf didn't fight them he ducked them as pbf haters say.

Lmfao! How did he ducked cotto when arum wouldn't put cotto within 2 timezones of him. As soon as cotto leaves arum the fight is made, funny how that works.

Mosely wouldn't fight pbf in his prime he was too high risk too low reward then. Then later Mosley turned pbf down in the ring saying he needed to get his tooth fixed. After Mosley beat the life outta margo he got the pbf fight.

Williams the timing was never really there after Williams beat a loaded gloves margo he then quickly lost to quintana then avenged the loss and moved up in weight.

Margo I have already explained that a million times it was no duck.

There was still the vestiges of the sanctioning bodies each pretending they were the one and only sanctioning body. Now they've basically accepted each is holding a share of the real prize.

Plus Mayweather was lucky enough to have a few rivals who took time out of their busy schedules to distinguish themselves by fighting some decent opposition instead of just waiting by the phone like a girl in a 50's movie.

It was a curtain call kind of fight.

He ducked him. And you are still bothered by it over 15 years later. Just because I’m not a part of the Mayweather Protection Squad doesn’t mean I hate him. I acknowledge his all time great skills and ability. Critique doesn’t equal hate. You might hate fighters for whatever reason but I don’t take boxing personal like that.

You're bothered by it. That's why you bring up a guy who pbf would land on like rain on a tin roof as the guy who beats him lmfao. You don't even believe half the **** you type you just want to hate because pbf never took an L and you never got to see him humbled in the ring. Hell if I was a pbf hater like you I'd be mad and bitter to. Lmfao!
