there is another interesting thread about
a match up between foreman and bruno

and someone brought up how strong foreman was
and how even though bruno was all muscle
    foreman could shove him around

like he did roided up morrison
    or legendry frazier etc etc

now this brings me to this point

why the fcuk did refs always let him do this illegal tatic
i mean its not like a sneaky headbutt from hopkins
or a little low blow from whoever

foreman espically in the frazier fights
shoved the guy around the ring again and again

and this happened in peak career
    and in his comeback

why did the refs never say a thing....

and dont praise him for this shove stuff
a short guy also tackle him down

which be excatly the same as he is doing

one guy guy in the foreman vs 5 tackled him nice
that was cool...when the "super strong" foreman
just taken down to the ground quite easily

    but all this stuff aside
it is very easy to see
one guy pushing around across the ring
    again and ring

    and its against the rules
so didnt the refs EVER DO anything

    and oddly enough
people often praise him for this

its like a boxer would come and kick other fighters

i can what he did is as easy to see

because they were clear 2 handed shoves
not like little shoulder shoves and bumps
that a lot of pros do

Well, Ali held behind the head like he was trying to cop a kiss all night long, what does that make him?

i agree that makes him a cheater

and course he would cry if someone would low blow
    every time he did that

i think ali with is his holding behind the head

is another big deal thing the refs did nothing about wrongly

and yes it helped him win many fights fights

Lummox Lewis also held and hit whenever possible. Bowe liked the low blows. Holy liked to headbut. Holmes threw the best elbow in the business, since... well, Marciano. The list goes on...

    true but like i said
    low blows, headbutts
    elbows etc

    are much harder to spot

then one just shoveing another with both hands
    again and again

thats why i compared it too
someone kicking because its so easy to see

well the other stuff you mentioned
is not always all that easy to see

I think sometimes refs are intimidated by fighters, promoters, crowds, and THE MOMENT.
And sometimes I think some of them might even be a little hazy on the rules. It is their fault more than the fighters. It is fairly rare to see points deducted. Ali should've lost many points. Perhaps Foreman should've too. I think referees need to confront all fighters, even the superstars, and call them on these things.

Very susceptible to a good shove. Just a couple of those pegs coming loose, and WHOOSH. Down goes open tent. DOWN GOES OPEN TENT.

 ^ at the open tent.

Foreman did it in close quarters to get out of a clinch, I think its acceptable in the rules. He didnt use elbows to do it.

    lol at the tent

    every fighter cheats
but most the fouls are not as easy to see as
    pushing....

i cant understand why you guys dont
    see what i mean

an elbow from tyson is not always easy to see

a 2 hand push from foreman,
the guy in the last row can see

    thats the difference

thusly why i compared to one boxer
    kicking another

"Live by the sword, die by the sword." I'll close with a different axiom.

It was said of Dempsey, "Sure, he hit low. But he never hollered if YOU hit HIM low!" Foreman won his first title in part by shoving Frazier around, then lost it because, at least according to Archie Moore, Ali's neck yanking tactic drained him to the point he was vulnerable to getting knocked out.

George did make excuses for his loss, but cheating by Ali was NEVER among the reasons he cited, and what Moore said was intended as a statement of fact, absolutely not a complaint.

Jimmy Young shrewdly did make "crybaby" complaints about Foreman's manhandling, and it paid off as he got referee Waldemar Schmidt to penalize George in round three, the margin by which Young was able to make his victory into a unanimous decision. (I don't recall Jimmy ducking out of the ring in this one as he did with Ali, which Schmidt almost certainly would have penalized him for after deducting from Foreman.)

Certainly Tommy Morrison was in no position to complain during their match, as he was cheating himself with steroids. And we all know about Holyfield's butting and the high probability Evander himself was juicing.

Now, here's that promised second axiom:

"Let he without sin cast the first stone."
