There was no question who won the first fight...at all, and Chisora lost several fights since. Why was this fight even made?
British people will buy any reheated piece of **** fight their masters sell them so long as you just put two British fighters in the same ring fighting in the motherland. It's nationalism at it's finest.
No chance.:nono The original fight Fury was set to make close to 350KGBP, and this one probably wasnt much more. It was a high level domestic dustup, and a WBO eliminator b/c of their high standing in the ABCs, and therefore because of fan interest, the level of meaning in the game, and high profile of both fighters, it was a better payday than your average run of mill domestic level title fight. :think
Towards the END of the first fight Chisora was close to finishing Fury. Fury has moved on and Chisora declined since then. We all saw that, and it was no suprise to me that Fury shut him out. That being said I dont see Fury lighting up the HW division
The same exact deal as with Frampton vs. Martinez II. Chisora was the belt holder. Fury came in empty handed.
I dont give much of Fury .. but Chisora?? Oh my god, hopefully they dont pay him any pound.. that performance is a shame for boxing .. hopefully he quitts boxing after that missmatch How delusional is his fanbase atsch
Fury needed money after 2 wasted expensive training camps. Thanks to the david haye pullouts. And then chisora pulled out on him once as well! Loads of people were picking Chisora to win, now threads like this are being made. Funny how things change. The fight has also made fury a mandatory for wlad. Another worthwhile reason for taking it.
Yet both Fury and Chisora are better than any American heavyweight. :hi: As is Joshua..and David Haye. :hi:
Mainly money. Also while Fury clearly won the first fight, Chisora had adopted the Arreola/Solis regime and was in horrible shape. Chisora has also improved and done well against Vitali and was on a good run while Fury was being dropped by former cruiser weights and hadn't really fought at the level Chisora had been fighting at. The fact it was a WBO eliminator also made it worth while, there was clearly a demand for this fight. It wasn't huge like a fight with Haye but it still had British fans wanting a more conclusive outcome with both men showing up in shape.
Was just for wbo mandatory and Wlad fought their last mandatory two fights ago. I doubt he has to fight Fury until 2016 in reality, unless of course Fury can sell out Wembley which we know he can't. He's an ******* to himself in reality as he should be wrapping himself in the St George/UJ and toning down the pikey stuff.
