I don't think many hate whyte, we are just Fury fans lol It will be a great fight regardless. Whyte is coming to win, so there will be fireworks
I don't think it's a walkover I think there's potential Fury could get dropped in this fight but I also think there's a potential he could just absolutely destroy Whyte it's one of them that I think is unpredictable.
He abandoned trash talking for two reasons imo: 1) Hes tired and seems it will be the final bout of his career; 2) These are no times for trash talking in sports. Theres a terribile war fought in Ukraine that deserves respect by sportsmen.
Who's told u that? It's funny people keep saying that because most Ukrainians I know say that most of it is made up media bull****
Fury was chill but there were some things he said I think bothered Whyte: - Intentionally or not the 'slept together' quote clearly embarrassed Whyte and made him defensive - The comment where Fury basically said 'I don't know why the bookies think I'm going to absolutely crush you Dillian...' definitely felt like a back handed compliment - Fury made a comment saying that 'we've both been written-off our entire career', definitely applies more to Whyte in the present than Fury, given no one is writing him off before this fight. Plenty for Whyte to be thinking about imo.
Both fighters know they are in for an absolute barn stormer on Saturday night, they are just trying to conserve as much energy as possible
It’s a huge fight, there’s a lot of money on the the line. Both teams are full of loudmouths looking for a scuffle. Fury said it himself on stage, he’s trying to avoid anything going down that could jeopardize the fight.
He didn’t goad him because he knew it would be on, and he’d then have to break up a melee. Better things to be doing before a fight. I think it’s that simple, and both Dillian and Tyson were aware. There doesn’t appear to be any hatred. I can’t remember Fury ever showing disdain toward any of his opponents.
Only by way of his build..r did you not read where I said - not in skills or speed or are you just being silly about Whyte full stop ? Doesn't matter to me either way, just a bit odd as I was obviously answering another poster who mentioned the size differential between Fury & Whyte...
Probably due to MTK Global - KInahan stuff. I'm pretty sure they have phone call or something with Arum and MTK side, as Fury is the most popular MTK fighter.
Whyte did not look comfortable to me especially at the face off. If Fury is injury free and healthy it’s really his fight to lose. He has most of the advantages. Height, weight, reach, skill, and versatility. Whyte might have him in power but Fury has been sitting in his punches better so it’s close. Look anything can happen in a fight and that’s why we love it so much but IMO the cards are stacked against Dillian. I get the feeling 94,000 is gonna bother him more then Fury. I know they’ve both been in front of big crowds, but Firy has been in bigger ones and wrestling ones also, and let’s be honest he relishes the spotlight. I’m not so sure Dillian does.
Fury is always nice and respectful to guys he knows have no chance. He laughed and kissed Seferi. He smiled and jokingly posed like male models with Schwarz. He's not going to embarrass someone he isn't afraid of. Ali often did the same thing. He was super nice to guys like Coopman, Lubbers and Blin because he considered them no threats. When Fury and Joshua rose to the top, British fans were so excited that they acted like all British heavyweights had the potential to be just as good as those two ... and they aren't. Dillian Whyte is a twice beaten 34-year-old heavyweight getting his first shot at a real title. Whyte isn't going to beat Fury and put together a long reign as champ. Tyson Fury knows what Whyte is. No point in embarrassing the guy.
Back just in time! I am a Fury fan and I say no one has earned it more than Whyte. Hope it is a great fight. I honestly believe that on their best nights, Fury is the better fighter, but he better be on his A-game, because Whyte has power in either hand, and a very underrated ability to stay ahead on the punch count.
