Why was Fury so respectful to Whyte?

All of his accounts are now on ignore. No doubt I will be banned soon on a permanent basis, but he won't be the one to put the final nail in the coffin. The next account he pops up with will also be put on ignore.

 

Because Whyte has been generally respectful of the Fury's and they've spent time together previously so know what each other is actually like in real life, outside of boxing.

He wound Klitschko because Klit is a douchebag who imposed all sorts of crazy rules on opponents to put them at every possible disadvantage and Fury was having none of it.

He wound Wilder up because Wilder is a douchebag who believes his own hype and literally thought he was the Black Panther incarnate.

Staying on the thread topic I think it's just that they are familiar with each other and have sparred and shared the ring before.
Wilder was a different animal so Fury deployed different tactics.
It would look fake if they then suddenly then had a beef just before the fight. yes they've spoken crap about each other but nothing too personal and some personalities talking smack doesn't work sometimes it can work against a fighter.
So although people wanted fireworks and smack talk beforehand it isn't always the best strategy. as long as they both perform in the ring that's all that really matters the rest is just gravy.
